東京都内で行われた、出版発売記念イベントで
報道陣の取材に応じ
最近フィリピン人の“家政婦”を雇ったことを明かした。
岡村さんは
「いまは何も不自由ない。家政婦さんというか
お掃除してくれる方もいるんです。
フィリピン人のおばさんで、もう家の鍵も渡してる」と告白したという。

露天風呂
フィリピン・ネグロス島のリゾート施設で
石川県の造園業者 山口晃一さん（７７ ）が建設していた
露天風呂「美川温泉」が完成した。
露天風呂は、西ネグロス州バコロド市郊外にある
リゾート施設「マンブ カル・マウンテン・リゾート」に建設されたもので
山口さんは、１９７７年から続けている
旧日本兵の遺骨収集が縁で
２００８年に、戦死者の慰霊塔横に日本庭園を整備した。
山口さんの腕を見込んだ
西ネグロス州の知事が
「日本文化を伝えてほしい」と露天風呂の設計を依頼。
今年の６月３０日に完成し
現地で設計関係者や
バコロド市在住の日本人らを招いて完成式が行われた。

帝王切開
フィリピン首都圏警察マニラ市本部はこのほど
自分で帝王切開して胎児を死なせたとして
フィリピン人女性(28)を、マニラ市検察局に書類送検した。
女性は、マニラ市内の自宅で帝王切開をした後
親類２人と死亡した胎児を連れて病院に駆け込んだという。
