3日、銀行のATMから引き出された現金に偽札が含まれていたという。
現金を引き出した男性が、数メートル先のデパートで買い物をした所
偽札が発覚したという。
現地警察当局が現在捜査を進めている。

7月3日に報告された交通事故は33件で
その多くは悪天候と運転手の不注意が原因だという。
幹線道路EDSAのオルティガス高架橋で発生したバスの事故は
（路線バスが側道に突っ込み７人が負傷した）
バス運転手が携帯電話を操作していたと乗客が証言している。
これを受けて、エストラダ上院議員は
議会に、車の運転中に
携帯電話の文字メール利用を禁止する法案を提出した。
罰則は罰金１万ペソと禁錮１年となる。
