フィリピン陸運局がこのほど
2013年1月1日から、オートバイのヘルメットに
安全性を示すシールの貼り付けを義務化すると発表した。
ヘルメットは、貿易産業省で適合検査に合格した場合のみ提供されるという。
検査は7月20日から始まっている。

中国と周辺国・地域が領有権を争う
南シナ海の南沙（英語名スプラトリー）諸島のうち
フィリピンが実効支配するパグアサ島近くに
中国漁船団が先週からとどまり
操業を続けていることが分かった。
違法にサンゴを採っているとみられ、両国の緊張が高まる可能性がある。

参加国はフィリピンの他
チャイニーズタイペイとマカオ、グアムなどの参加が予定されている。
