前にも書きましたが、ぱあこはお相撲を観るのが好き。
そして昨日、待ちに待ったお相撲観戦に行って参りました
お相撲は朝早くからやっているけど、ぱあこは4時前の幕内力士と横綱の土俵入りを目指していざ出発。
国技館の周りには、部屋や力士ののぼりがたくさん。
興奮するわぁ
そしてたくさんの人が力士が入ってくるのを観ようと待っている。
4時前くらいには幕内力士が全員登場。
東と西に別れて入ってきます。
それぞれの力士の名前が呼ばれ、一人一人が土俵にあがります。
ファンの方々がひいきの力士に声をかけています。
ぱあこは勇気なくてちょっと出来ないけど、いつかやってみたいわ。

ぱあこは礼儀正しい豊真将関が好きです。
いつも思うんですけど、升席って狭すぎない？
あの小さな空間に4人は無理だと思う。
ぱあこはいつも2階の椅子席を取ります。
椅子は楽だし、リーズナブルですよ。
しかもとてもよく見えます。
2階席には外国人の方もたくさんいて、みんないっぱい写真を撮っています。
相撲はスポーツでありながら、日本の伝統的な美しさもあり、世界に誇れるものだと思う。
力士だけでなく、行事さん、呼出さん、審判、すべてがキッチリと隙がない。
ぱあこがひいきの豊真将が登場。
今場所は西の前頭筆頭。
昨日は雅山との対戦だったけど、はたき込みで勝ちました。
横綱白鵬が結びの一番で登場。
懸賞もすごくかかっていて、その数の多さにお客さんも盛り上がります。
白鵬関は本当に美しい力士だと思う。
横綱の貫禄もたっぷり
朝青龍関がいない9月場所、頑張って欲しい。。
昨日は琴奨菊関との対戦だったけど、圧倒的な強さでした。
お相撲って素晴らしい。
取り組みに興奮するだけでなく、とても美しい。
ぱあこは千秋楽も行く予定です。
Sumo is wonderful
As I wrote in my blog a while ago, I like to watch Sumo.
And finally, I went to Kokugikan to watch sumo yesterday.
Although it starts early in the morning everyday, I went there about 4 pm when the ‘Makunouchi wrestlers’ and the ‘Yokozuna’ showed up.
I saw lots of flags of wrestlers and stables around Kokugikan, so it made me quite excited. And I saw lots of people who were waiting for wrestlers who were going in.
All of the ‘Makunouchi wrestlers (‘Makunouchi’ means senior grade), showed up about 4 o’clock. They came into the ‘Dohyo’ from east and west.
Each wrestler was announced then he set foot on the ‘Dohyo’. Some of their fans were screaming their names, but I felt embarrassed to do it. I really want to do it in the near future.
“HOUMASHO-!!” My favorite wrestler is “HOUMASHO”. He knows proper behavior.
I always think ‘Masu-seki’ is too narrow! I can’t believe it’s for 4 people. ‘Masu-seki’ is a kind of seat, and most of seats are ‘Masu-seki’ on the 1st floor of the stadium. That’s why I always take my seat on the 2nd floor, because it’s more comfortable and cheaper. Also, the view is not so bad.
I could see many foreigners there, and they were taking photos.
I think Sumo is not only a sport but also a beautiful tradition which we can proud of.
‘Gyoji’(referees), ‘Yobidashi’(people who call the wrestler’s names) and judges are strict and beautiful.
‘HOUMASHO’, who is my favorite wrestler, showed up. He is a first rank ‘maegashira’ this season. Yesterday’s match was with ‘MIYABIYAMA’ and his winning technique was ‘Hataki-komi’.
And finally, YOKOZUNA ‘HAKUHOU’ showed up at the end. Lots of prizes were posted for his match. And the audience was very excited to know about it.
I think ‘HAKUHOU’ is one of the beautiful wrestlers, and he is talented enough to be a Yokozuna. I really place high hopes on this new wrestler, because the other Yokozuna, ‘ASASHORYU’ is not here this season. Yesterday, he defeated ‘KOTOSHOGIKU’ overwhelmingly.
Sumo is wonderful.
It’s not just wrestling. I think it’s beautiful to see our traditions.
I’m planning to visit again at ‘Sensyu-raku’ which means the closing day.
