イーグルス　- アフター・ザ・スリル・イズ・ゴーン （日本語訳あり）

After the Thrill is Gone

 
1975年初の全米1位を記録した『One of These Nights（呪われた夜）』は、 イーグルスを
スーパーグループへ押し上げ、このアルバムに続く『ホテル・カリフォルニア』『ロング・ラン』も
全米アルバム1位を記録した。
このアルバムからは3枚のシングルがカットされ、いずれもTO10に入った。
「One Of These Nights（呪われた夜）」（全米1位）
「Lyin' Eyes（いつわりの瞳）」（全米2位）
「Take It to the Limit（テイク・イット・トゥ・ザ・リミット」（全米4.位）
 
さて、この「アフター・ザ・スリル・イズ・ゴーン」は『One of These Nights（呪われた夜）』 の
収録曲で「Take It to the Limit」のB面でリリースされた。
 
「ラスト・リゾート」もそうだったが、イーグルスは目立たない曲でも何度も聴いていると
サウンドの向こうに広がる景色が見えるようになる曲が多い。
アルコールを一杯足してしまう＾＾
