えー、今日は少々赤裸々に私の下半身事情をお話ししようかと思います
いや、ぶっちゃけ、前立腺がんの治療をしたあと、男性としての機能はどうなるねん！？と不安に思っているそこのあなた！そして、その奥様方！
私のお話がみなさまにとって少しでも参考になればと思い、恥を忍んで書いてみます
前立腺がんと診断されてから早2年4ヵ月経ちますが、正直その間まったくいわゆる「行為」はいたしておりませんでした。
「行為」どころか、わがジュニアが果たして勃起するのかすらためしたこともありませんでした
精神的にそんな気分にならなかったこともありますし、ホルモン治療半年と放射線治療を受けていたので、以前のように機能しないのではないかと不安でした。きっと、みなさんもそうですよね。。。
いろいろ他の患者さんのブログなどを見てみても、なかなか性生活について語っている方はおらんので、ほんまのところどうなんやろ？と思ってました。
全般的に７０代など高齢になって前立腺がんになる方が多いこともあってか、そこまで治療や手術後の性生活に重要性を感じていない人が多いのかもしれません。でも、私のように60代の方などは、「まだまだ男としても頑張りたい
」と思ってる人も少なくないはず！
がん告知前の私の機能は、いたって普通で特に衰えを感じることはなかったです
そんな私ですが、、、、
先日御年６０、還暦にして、、、、
何年かぶりにわがジュニアの勃起＆発射を確認いたしましたことをここにご報告いたします（笑）
治療前が１００とすると８０くらいの出来ちゃうか！？
これは、合格やろ～～～～～
ホルモン治療を辞めてから1年6ヵ月経つので、だいぶ男性ホルモンも戻ってきてるのやと思う。
放射線治療を受けてもホルモン治療を辞めると、男性ホルモンは活発化するっちゅうことやね。
前立腺がんの経過としては、今の状態が正解なんかはわかりませんが、少なくとも男性としての機能は失われず、健全な性生活を送れるということが身をもって証明できたで

前立腺がんは他のがんと比べて予後が良好ながんと言われてるけど、逆を言うと若くして発症すると付き合う期間がめちゃくちゃ長くなるわけやん。
その間、ただひたすらに治療に専念して、男性としての機能は諦めてええんか！？
そこのあなた、本当にええんか？？
いや、自分の場合は多少PSAの上昇があったとしても、そこは諦めないのだ。
そんなわけで、今めちゃくちゃ嬉しいねんって話でした

[41] Prostate Cancer Patients and the Sex life
Alrighty, let's get a bit real today and talk about my downstairs situation after prostate cancer treatment.
You know, for those of you out there who've been wondering, "What happens to a guy's functionality after prostate cancer treatment?"
And for all you lovely ladies out there too!
I figure if my story can be even a little helpful to anyone, I'll swallow my pride and spill the beans.
It's been a solid 2 years and 4 months since my prostate cancer diagnosis, and honestly, there hasn't been any, uh, action during that time. Not a peep from the little guy downstairs, let alone any signs of an erection.
Mentally, I didn't really feel down about it, and with six months of hormone therapy and radiation treatment under my belt, I was worried I wouldn't function like before.
I'm sure many of you can relate, right?
I checked out a bunch of other patients' blogs and stuff, but hardly anyone was talking about their sex lives.
So, I was like, what's the deal with that?
Especially since a lot of guys who get prostate cancer are in their 70s or older, maybe they just don't place as much importance on sex after treatment or surgery.
But folks like me in their 60s still wanna keep up with the whole manhood thing, you know?
Before my cancer diagnosis, everything down there was pretty normal, no issues whatsoever.
But, guess what? The other day, at the ripe old age of 60, on my birthday no less, I witnessed my Junior's revival after years! Had to share that milestone with you all, haha!
If pre-treatment was a perfect 100, I'd say I'm hitting about an 80 now!
This calls for celebration, right?!
It's been a year and six months since I stopped hormone therapy, so I reckon my testosterone levels have been making a comeback. And it seems like when you stop hormone therapy after radiation treatment, those male hormones come back with a vengeance.
Now, I can't say if my current state is the "right" one in terms of prostate cancer progress, but at least I've proven that I haven't lost my manhood and can still enjoy a healthy sex life.
Cheers to that!
Prostate cancer is said to have a better prognosis compared to other cancers, but on the flip side, if you're diagnosed at a younger age, that means you're in for a heck of a long ride.
During all that time, you're just supposed to focus solely on treatment and give up on your manhood?
Are you really okay with that?
Well, not me. Even if there's a bit of a rise in PSA, I'm not giving up on that.
So yeah, that's why I'm feeling ecstatic right now!
