[8] Can't find a hospital!
Hello, I am Nichara, fighting Prostate Cancer patient.
When the bone metastasis was found and the treatment plan at T-Hospital was somewhat clear, I still couldn't get rid of the blur.
In my search for another hospitals, I found two candidates: Cancer Institute where my father-in-law had received radiation treatment for the same prostate cancer, and O-Hospital which is a little far away from home.
Needless to say, Cancer Institute is an authority that continues to provide the best technology in cancer treatments.
On the other hand, I was impressed by videos of prostate cancer treatment on internet by Dr. T of O-Hospital's radiology department.
Radiotherapy was not an option in T-Hospital, but the videos present the of cases of radiotherapy for a small number of metastases and, most importantly, his comment of “I hope you can meet a doctor who will take your feelings into consideration”.
I could not shake my distrust of the young doctor at T-Hospital, so I decided to take the plunge and request a second opinion at O-Hospital.
I had another short discussion with the young doctor at T-Hospital request a second opinion, but even then, I did not feel comfortable with him. So, I made up my mind to transfer to a O-Hospital.
When I requested a transfer and asked for the documents, the young doctor at T-Hospital said to me as he handed me the documents...

“Mr. Nicchara, you're sure you want to do this? Remember. What I told you.”
His attitude really blew me away.
With a referral letter in hand, I immediately made an appointment at O-Hospital and visited Dr. T in the radiology department a week later.
What followed was yet another unexpected turn of events!
Well then!
