Nba rookies in high school part 1. Jaime Jaquez Jr is one of the best rookies to come out of the 2023 daft class and is balling out for the Miami Heat but how good was he in high school. Although he was ranked, still went under the radar as a recruit and no one expected him to be this good. Jaquez played for Camarillo high school in southern California. In his junior season, he averaged 24, 11 and 2 while making Ventura county 2nd team. His senior year is what put him on the map, Jaime averaged 32, 12 and 4 leading his team to a 25-4 record and a Coastal Canyon League title. Despite carrying his team and averaging crazy numbers, Jaime was only a 4 star recruit and barely made the ESPN 100, being the 95th ranked recruit in the class of 2019.
