英語で会話をする時、ﾜﾀｼには、英訳アプリが必須なわけですが、
これ・・・かなり精度が良くなったとはいえ、まだまだイマイチ～・・・
かといって、仕事で多用するわけでもないので、サブスクリプションするまでもないし。
でも、Googleも、DeepLも、無料版ったら・・・
「ボクの声が聞こえていますか？」を、ただ「聞こえていますか？」としか
和訳してくれないので、困るというか・・・おかしなことに・・・というか。
文をよく読めば、「あ・・・」って分かることも、その瞬間だと
『ん？えっ？どういうこと・・・？』って焦っちゃって、アプリ和訳を
信用しちゃうのよね・・・。
それに、Googleは、和訳されたものの下に、ローマ字が出るので、読みも分かりやすいですが
英語は、ローマ字読みなんて出ませんからね・・・。
発音もわからない。もどかしいわ～、と何度思ったことか。
一番、もどかしいのは、日本語と英語はイコールにはならない、ってところですかね。
文法が違うので、語順を入れ替えてみたり、余計な言葉をくっつけずに、
日本語のままだったら、相当、無愛想だろう、と思われる言葉で訳してみたり。
訳した時には、言いたいことの意味だったものが、送信してみたら、まったく違う
言葉になっていて、目が飛び出たことなんて数知れず・・・。
手間は手間ですが、非日常なことだったので、楽しかったですね～。
でも、それと同じくらい、恥もかいたけどね💦
