hamming

The Enemy of the Best is, good

Good morning! ☀
Woke up at 5:00 AM today, time for a blog post ✨
In my guitar lessons, I’m often told to hum while playing.
It might look like no big deal on the surface, but it actually makes a massive difference.
Yesterday, I tried doing something similar while listening to Okada Semi (Toshio Okada's lecture).
Strictly speaking, it wasn't humming—I was repeating what Toshio Okada was saying in a low voice right as he spoke it.
Doing that gave me the distinct feeling that the information was being deeply engraved into my brain.
It allowed me to absorb information in a completely different way than when I'm just listening passively.
It really goes to show that universal principles run continuously throughout life.
And perhaps the entry point to those principles can be anything.
"The enemy of the best is good."
The time has come for me to truly take this concept to heart.
Let's make today another wonderfully creative and exciting day!
