easy say

The Enemy of the Best is, good

Good morning! ☀
Woke up at 5:15 AM today,
and now I’m writing this blog post. ✨
March through May is always a hectic season for me, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Amidst all the busyness, I encountered a phrase from the Analects of Confucius:
“Wu yi, wu bi, wu gu, wu wo” (No foregone conclusions, no arbitrary predeterminations, no obstinacy, and no egotism).
I now find myself repeating it multiple times a day, almost like a mantra.
It makes me realize—with a bit of a laugh—just how much I’ve lived my life doing the exact opposite! (laughs)
I think I was in my late twenties when I first encountered the Analects.
Back then, I just brushed it off, thinking, "Well, that’s just common sense."
But looking back now... oh boy, was I wrong.
It truly is easier said than done.
It gives me a similar feeling to Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People.
It really feels true that life hits a major turning point around the age of 40.
Without getting too caught up in things, I want to embrace and enjoy this journey.
"The enemy of the best is good."
The time has come for me to truly commit to this phrase.
Let’s make today a highly creative and exciting day!
