Science of sleep

The Enemy of the Best is, good

Good morning! ☀
I woke up at 5:50 AM today and am currently working on my blog post. ✨
During my lunch breaks, I usually dedicate time to "ear learning" (listening to educational content).
Every Monday, I tune in to a science radio program—I believe I’ve been a regular listener for about two years now.
Yesterday’s episode was about sleep.
You often see countless books on sleep lined up in bookstores, don't you?
However, the reality is that sleep is a field of cutting-edge research, and much of it remains a mystery.
It’s a classic example of the "merits and demerits" of books! (lol)
It seems we’ve only recently reached the stage where the influence of genetics is being proven.
Apparently, research is difficult due to the vast individual differences and ethical constraints.
But that’s exactly it: the only real shortcut right now is to become a researcher of your own life and discover the optimal sleep for yourself.
In my case, I’ve found that going to bed in the 9 PM hour and getting exactly 7 hours of sleep works best.
Using science—the "universal"—as a reference to approach the "individual" uniqueness of oneself.
This "clinical" approach to life is truly fascinating, isn't it?
"The Enemy of the Best is, Good."
The time has come for me to take this phrase to heart and truly act on it.
Let’s make today a highly creative and exciting day!
