you need to use potion to restore archeage ship
when your ship is destroyed you need to use this potion on it shatigons sandglass to restore it, there is different ones though for the different ships,

Shatigon's Sanglass: Pinch - Used to repair: Rowboat
Shatigon's Sandglass: Spoonful - Used to repair: Harpoon Clipper, Fish-Find Longliner'
Shatigon's Sanglass: Handful - Used to repair: Eznan Cutter, Merchant Ship
Pinch Sandglass can be bought at General Merchant store. Other two can be crafted (Alchemy>Talismans) it requires 10,000 and 20,000 profficiency to be able to craft them

I guarantee that "Beta" prices are never what launch is. Right now a consumable 3-day fishing pole is 8g on the auction system and bait is 10g+ for worms. Do you honestly see those as being the same at launch? No. This is because people aren't crafting seriously right now knowing full well that their progress is going to be wiped and they'll have nothing to show for developing.
Prob is you will have to wait until there are 10 k archeage gold alchemists to be able to repair a clipper , 10 alchemist is not a walk in the park , they could simply sell the sandglass on a vendor , or have some kind of time penalty for re-spawn .
I see a lot of people responding and referring to risk , of course there is a risk , Ive lost a whole trade ship full of tradepacks and i didn't complain, this however is simply re-tarded , we'll see when they start sinking ships and people will have to wait a week or more to repair them at a fortune .
