晴れ女の麻子さんと私の力でも、超絶雨女の麻里さんには敵わなかった当日。
「龍神様が涙を流して喜んでいる」というほど土砂降り悪天候のなか、
会場には溢れるばかりのたくさんのゲストがお越しくださった。
第１部は「月」をテーマにした田村麻子さんのソロリサイタル。
優しい音色を響かせる市川純子さんのピアノと、甘く力強い麻子さんの歌声が、
月光のもとで愛をささやくセレナーデの情景を思い起こさせる。
第２部、麻子さんのピアノと歌の即興に合わせて、西村麻里さんの手指が宙を舞う。
ベーゼンドルファーとスタンウェイという２台のピアノを向き合わせて
「フォーハンズ」の連弾でどんどん波に乗り、最後は再び麻子さんの歌で締める。
アンコール「いのちの歌」で最後の魂を注ぎ込んだ時に、
昨夏に御他界されたとある友人の精霊が降りてきたと、異口同音の感想が。
最初の企画から打ち合わせ、リハーサルを重ねるごとに、
私は毎回涙が込み上げてきたのだけれど、
本番当日は、宇宙の彼方に飛んでいったアーティストの裏側で地球と交信。
左脳を使い切ったためか涙を流す余裕もなく、ただただ無事終了を祈った。
誕生したドラゴンは、パワフルかつ丸い優しさを持った聖マリア様のよう。
このドラゴンが大きく羽ばたく先は、どこになるのだろう。
才能あるアーティスト同士は、時に潰し合いになることもあるけれど、
ここまで同じ向きを目指してやってこられたチームになれたことこそが、
奇跡だったのかもしれない。

Even with the help of Asako, a woman of fine weather, and myself, we were no match for Mari, a super-rainy woman.
The weather was so bad and downpouring that "the dragon goddess was happy to see us with tears in her eyes.
The first part was a solo recital by Asako Tamura on the theme of "Moon.
Junko Ichikawa's piano played gentle tones, and Asako's sweet and powerful voice sang, evoking a scene of whispering love under the moonlight.
In the second part, Mari Nishimura's fingers danced in the air to the improvisation of Asako's piano and singing.
Two pianos, a Bösendorfer, and a Stanway, faced each other.
Asako and Junko rode the wave with "Four Hands." Asako sang the final two songs again.
The encore, "Inochi no Uta" (Song of Life), was the last time they poured out their souls,
The audience commented in unison that the spirit of a friend of theirs who had passed away last summer had descended upon them.
From the first planning to every meeting and rehearsal,
I was moved to tears every time.
On the day of the performance, I communicated with the earth on the other side of the artist who had flown to the far side of the universe.
I was so exhausted that I had no time to shed a tear and just prayed for a safe completion of the event.
The born dragon is like St. Maria, powerful yet round and gentle.
I wonder where this dragon will spread its wings.
Talented artists sometimes crush each other,
But it is probably a miracle that we have become a team that has been able to aim in the same direction to this point.
