２冊目の拙著「生まれてくれてありがとう」の中扉に、
愛溢れる挿絵をたくさん書き下ろしてくれた三浦大地さん。
最後にお会いしたのは、コロナ禍が始まる少し前の頃だったろうか。
その頃の彼は、イラストレーターからアーティストへと進化している過程にあり、
人の手によって作られたファッションと、スピリチュアルな自然と、
相反するもの、どちらも描いてみたい世界だと話していた。
コロナ禍、拠点を東京から関西に移して、制作活動をしていると耳にした。
世界のホテルを旅するのが大好きな彼、どんな風に過ごしていたのだろう。
そして突然、「アーティストとしての初個展を伊勢丹新宿で開催します」と。
「モデレーション」個展のタイトルが、いかにも彼らしい。（「中庸」という意味）
どちらにも傾くことなく「ゼロ地点」を描くというバランス感、
固定観念にとらわれずに、自分にとって居心地の良いものに集中する。
人気キャラクター、ジョシーが鼻血を垂れ流している。
ディスニーの世界を斜めから眺めているシニョンちゃん。
クリスタルやヘンプをちりばめたアート作品の数々。
この世に存在しないような神秘的な色合いに、心でシャッターを押す。
すべての作品に、彼の生き方が表れているような気がした。
愛に溢れ、純度の高いものだけが、選び抜かれている。
この先もきっと、彼のアートは時代と共に、しなやかに進化していくのだろう。
久しぶりに、心を洗われた。
それが、アートの力。
Mr. Daichi Miura drew many illustrations full of love for the inside door of my second book.
The last time I met him was probably shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic.
At that time, he was in the process of evolving from an illustrator to an artist.
He said he wanted to draw both opposite worlds, fashion made by human hands and spiritual nature.
I heard that he had moved his base of operations from Tokyo to the Kansai region to work on his artwork.
I wondered how he was spending his time, as he loves to travel to hotels worldwide.
Then suddenly, he said, "I will hold my first solo exhibition as an artist at Isetan Shinjuku.
The exhibition title, "MODERATION," is very typical of him.
He draws the "zero point" without leaning either way.
He concentrates on what is comfortable for him without being bound by stereotypes.
The popular character, Josie, was dripping nosebleeds.
A girl, Chignon, looks at Disney world from an angle.
He made a variety of artworks encrusted with crystals and hemp.
Mysterious shades seemed out of this world, and I pressed the shutter button with my heart.
I felt he expressed his way of life in all his works.
He selected only the purest and most loving pieces.
I am sure that his art will continue to evolve flexibly with the times.
My heart was washed away for the first time in a long time.
That is the power of art.
