星渉氏と最初に出会ったのは、6年前。
起業家プロデューサーとして日本国内で数々のセミナーを実施されていた星氏が、
ニューヨークで初めての講演を開催された際の準備とコーディネートを請け負った。

出会った当時、私は少しだけ先輩の気持ちでいた。
年齢はもちろん、人生の修羅場を踏んだ数でも、少しだけ先輩のはずだったのに、
あっという間に、手が届かなくなるくらい、ずっと先を歩かれている。
それでも、当時を思い出して、今でも丁寧に私に気遣いをしてくださる彼の言動に、
起業以来「丁寧な人繋ぎ」だけを信念として貫いてきた私は、心を打たれっぱなし。
都会生活を離れて、今は札幌を拠点に活動されている彼の話は、
隅から隅まで興味深い。

I first met Mr. Wataru Hoshi six years ago.
He had conducted numerous seminars in Japan as an entrepreneurial producer.
I was contracted to prepare and coordinate his first lecture in New York.
Mr. Hoshi delivered a magnificent lecture to an audience of 120 people at a venue of great history and status.
Mr. Hoshi, a man of action, has since published a series of best-selling business books titled "The Author, Wataru Hoshi."
I felt a bit like I was "Senpai, a senior" of him when I first met him.
Not only in terms of age but also in terms of the number of life experiences I have gone through, I was supposed to be a little senior to him.
In the blink of an eye, he is walking so far ahead that I can no longer reach him.
And yet, he still remembers those days, and I feel his polite concern and his words and deeds.
I, who have believed only in "polite human connection" since I started my business, am still struck by his words and actions.
He has left the city life and is now based in Sapporo, and his story is interesting from every corner.
