ブログ筆者の研究用のデータベースの公開という位置づけです。ご興味あればご参照ください。原文は英語のため、書き起こしから機械翻訳とその後のブログ筆者による加筆と、その後も適宜修正を加えていきます。

今月の新着情報

本号では、2005年6月12日からの新しい夏ダイヤを掲載。イギリス、フランス、スウェーデン、ノルウェーの新しい時刻表と、ドイツ、ハンガリーをはじめとするその他のほとんどの国の時刻表が修正された。これらの国々における6月11日までの運行は、5月号をご利用されたい。ロシア、ウクライナ、その他のCIS（独立国家共同体）諸国、バルト三国については、5月29日以降の新しい時刻表が掲載されている。フィンランドは6月5日から、北アイルランドは6月6日から新しい時刻表となる。この版に間に合わなかった改正もあり、さらなる変更は7月のヨーロッパ鉄道時刻表に掲載される。オーストリアでは6月12日から軽微な時刻修正が予定されており、ポルトガルでは6月19日から重要な変更が予定されている。

 

 

カートレイン

夏季のみプラハ〜スプリット間でヤドラン・エクスプレスが週１便運行することになり、Table1に追加された。ただし、プラハ〜コシツェ間の自動車輸送サービスは廃止された。

 

 

国際列車

  • 今月、ドイツからオーストリア、チェコ共和国、さらに南東ヨーロッパへの便をよりよくカバーするため、いくつかの国際列車のTableが変更された。Table60とTable61はTable60に統合され、Table61のミュンヘン〜ザルツブルク〜ウィーン線はTable67と統合され、新しいTable52となった。ほとんどの情報はTable1085に含まれているため、そのスペースを確保するため、Table55は削除された。Table62、64、65は拡張された。
  • Table 18/18a　パリ〜ブリュッセル間のタリス列車において、夏の繁忙期期間が１週間移動された。最近導入されたパリ発ブリュッセル国際空港行の便（以前はTable18aに記載）は廃止された。
  • Table20　ケルン中央駅〜ベルリン間の一部の便が土曜日運休され、ブリュッセル〜ベルリン間の旅程に影響がある。ただし、ケルン中央駅とドルトムント中央駅で乗り換えることで、ケルン・メッセ／ドイツ駅でタリス、およびICEを利用できる。
  • Table28、64、66　インターシティ列車　IC2020（パッサウ～ニュルンベルク～ケルン～ハンブルク）のパッサウ～ニュルンベルク区間は土日のみ運行に変更。この便は、ウィーンから乗り継いでドイツ全土を横断する夜行便を低コストで提供するため、インターレール利用者やバックパッカーに人気があるのは間違いない。
  • Table30、32　パリからメッス／ナンシー、ストラスブール便はTGV東ヨーロッパ線の建設中は、一部運休される可能性がある。
  • Table 46　リスボン発パリ行の列車　シュドエクスプレス（南急行）は通年で16:01発となる。2005年については、従来夏に運行されていた4031列車 (パリ発13:39イルン行)と4030列車(アンダイエ発10:09パリ行) は運休されている。
  • Table50　7月4日から31日にかけて、オスロ〜エーデボリ間で軌道工事が行われるため、エーデボリからマルメおよびコペンハーゲン間は一部の便が代行バスでの運行となる。また8月15日以降、一部のコペンハーゲン〜マルメ〜ストックホルム間の便はマルメ〜ストックホルム間に運転区間が短縮されるため、通しで乗車の際は乗り換えるが必要。
  • Table60　6月12日より、EC170/171およびEC174/175は、ブダペスト西駅ではなくブダペスト東駅を利用し、ブダペスト出発時刻が10分早まる。ブダペスト〜イスタンブール間の498/9列車に連結されるクシェット車は、夏季には毎日から週５回と連結される日数が減る。
  • Table65/68　ハンブルク／ドルトムント〜リュブリャナ／リエカ間の列車が、夏季に週１回運行される。
  • Table93　週３日運行されていたワルシャワ〜ヴィリニュス間の直通列車バルティ号の廃止が決定された。最終運行日は2005年5月28日となる。

 

 

イギリス

  • 新しい時刻表は、ヨーロッパのほとんどの路線と同様、2005年6月12日から12月10日まで有効だが、週末運行列車については9月18日まで有効というケースが多い。ヴァージン・ウェストコーストとセントラル・トレインズが運行するサービスの大幅な変更を含め、ネットワーク全体に変更がある。

 

フランス

  • 夏の時刻表は2005年7月3日から有効だが、本号では新しい時刻を掲載するため、6月12日から12月10日まで適用される時刻を掲載している（各表に記載されている場合を除く）。
  • 例年通り、季節や工事による時刻変更は多数発生する見込み。行楽地では、盛夏（7月3日～8月28日）の時刻Tableが大きく異なることがあるため、今年はこの期間のTable280～285を 40/41 ページと 539/540 ページに別バージョンとして掲載することにした。これにより、ブルターニュ、パリからナント、レンヌまでをカバーするこれらのTableがより読みやすくなり、より多くの列車を表示できるようになった。また、編集者も少し楽になった！ただし、正しいバージョンを参照するように注意されたい。

 

 

ポルトガル

  • リスボン〜ポルト間の幹線では、2005年5月7日から若干の増便が行われ、夕方に設定されているリスボン〜ポルト〜ブラガ間の便が従来の土曜日運休だったが、今後は毎日運転となり、金・日曜運転の２便が毎日運行または週6日運行に増便された。
  • 6月19日からはダイヤ改正が予定されているが、ドゥオロ渓谷線（Table696　ポルト～レグア～ポチーニョ）が片道３本のインターシティ列車が導入されるダイヤ改正情報しか入手できていない。カステロ・ブランコまでの電化も、ダイヤ改正に間に合わせる可能性があり、週１便運転のコンボイオ・アズール号（ポルト〜ファロ間）は、本線と「４月２５日橋」を経由するルートに変更され、全区間で電気機関車による牽引となるかもしれない。

 

スウェーデン

2005年6月12日有効の時刻表を提示するが、例年通り、短い夏の間の時刻表は、通常よりかなり異なり、また、時期を同じくして軌道工事が多数実施されるのだが、紙面都合上、主要路線の8月中旬以降の新ダイヤ掲出は断念した。注目すべき変更点は以下の通り：

  • Table745：クリシャンスタード〜カールスクローナ間が電化工事のため運休。
  • Table750/1：エーデボリで行われる工事により、7月4日から7月31日までの運行に影響が出る。 特にこの期間は、夜行列車の座席車利用でマルメ〜オスロ間を移動ができなくなる。これは通常エーデボリ通過となることで、乗り換えできなくなるためだ。
  • Table752：運行会社BK Tågは事業を停止した。リンシェーピン～カルマル、ヴェステルヴィーク間の運行がSJに返還され、メルレゾール（SJとバス会社の共同出資）がナーショー～フルトフレッドを運行する。
  • ベルガ～オスカルスハムン線は廃止され、後継の代行バスが表示されている。
  • Table759：夏の日曜日は、いくつかのサービスが代行バスで運行される。詳細は以下の通り、7月10日、17日、8月14日のキルナ〜ナルヴィク間；8月7日のボーデン〜ナルヴィク間の94列車、7月10日、17日、8月7日、14日のナルヴィク〜キルナ間の95列車、8月7日のイェリヴァーレ〜ルレオ間の7009列車。
  • Table763：土木工事のため、6月18日～7月17日には時間調整された鉄道サービスが、7月18日～23日は代行バスとなる。

 

ノルウェー

  • ノルウェーの運行パターンに変更はないが、オスロ〜ドランメン間は2005年7月9日から31日まで運休となり、オスロ〜クリスチャンサン線およびオスロ〜サンデフィヨルド線（Table775/783）はオスロ〜ドランメン間で代行バスに変更される。この期間、ベルゲン線（Table780）はロア経由に迂回され、ドランメン発着の乗客はドランメン〜ホネフォス間の特別接続列車を利用する必要がある。

 

 

ドイツ

  • ベルリン・ツォー駅発23:00発ハンブルク行　ICE1700が最近増発され、ブダペスト（EC170、Table60）とワルシャワ（EC40、Table56）からの国際列車間の接続を可能になった。
  • 6月12日より、長距離路線のサービスが変更される。ケルン・フランクフルト高速線経由のICEの一部列車で運行日が変更され（Table910）、ドルトムント〜ハノーファー〜マグデブルク〜ライプツィヒ間のインターシティ列車にも変更が生じる（Table810）。マグデブルク経由の１日２便のデュッセルドルフ〜ベルリン間の便はライプツィヒ発着に変更された（つまり、ブランデンブルク経由のベルリン発着便は１日１往復のみとなった）。インゴルシュタット経由ニュルンベルク〜ミュンヘン間のインターシティ（Table900）は、主にICE列車での運行に変更される。これは、エッセン〜ニュルンベルク間の列車をミュンヘンまで延長運転することにより実現した。
  • 週末を中心に、事前予告なしの工事による運行への影響が生じることを承知おきされたい。弊社では、既存便の変更詳細を表示するよう努めているが、紙面都合上で表示できないことがあるため、最新情報は現地で確認されたい。ベルリン地区では、2005年7月30日、31日、8月13日、14日、20日、21日に全列車運行ダイヤが変更される可能性がある。長距離バスは通常、ツォー駅か東駅のいづれかに停車する（両方停車しない）。ローカル列車にも同じように影響がでる。

 

ポーランド

  • クラクフ〜コシツェ間の接続利便性を高めるため、ポプラド・タトリがTable1078に挿入された。新しいTLK (Tanie Linie Kolejowe) 区分は、該当する全便に表示されている。これは文字通り「安い鉄道路線」を意味し、特別低運賃だけでなく、乗客の安全を確保するため、これらの列車にはスタッフの配置が強化される。

 

 

チェコ共和国

  • ウースチー・ナド・ラベム地域を管轄する地方自治体からの資金援助が削減されたことを受け、2005年6月12日以降、この地域のローカル路線で若干の減便が発生する

 

 

ハンガリー

  • 例年通り、バラトン湖エリアのみの夏ダイヤ運行が始まり、Table1220、1225、およびTable1230のブダペスト〜タポルカ間に影響が生じる。これらのTableは6月11日から8月20日まで有効だが、8月29日から有効な別ダイヤが491pのハンガリーのページに掲載されています。
  • 2005年6月11日以降に行われた時刻修正もこのTableに反映している。これには、国境を越えてウクライナの町チョープ（Table1270）へ発着する。これはブダペスト〜ザーホニー間のインターシティ列車　620/3列車　の延長運転長によって実現した。
  • ティボルザーラシュ＝カレイ鉄道での越境列車は、ハンガリーとルーマニア両国民だけでなく、すべての乗客が利用可能になったため、カレイの発着時刻をTable1276に再び挿入された。ルーマニアからハンガリーへ向かうこれらのローカル線（すなわちカレイ、サロンタ、ヴァレア・ルイ・ミハイ発）の列車は、車内での税関検査が終わり次第、数分早く発車することが多いと報告されている！

 

ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ

  • ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ連邦のローカル列車のダイヤをようやく入手した。

 

 

ギリシャ

  • 2005年4月中旬から新ダイヤが施行されている。変更点は主に標準軌路線においてのものながら、ペロポネソス半島の路線にも若干の変更がある。特筆すべきは、テッサロニキ〜エデッサ間の便が大幅に増便された点だ。しかし、長い間運休していたコザーニ〜フロリナ間のまだ再開の兆しは見られない。これらの工事の状況について情報をお持ちの読者がおられたら連絡いただきたい。

 

 

ブルガリア

  • ヴァルナ〜ソフィア線とブルガス〜ソフィア線（Table1520）は、若干の時刻変更に加え、それぞれ新型のシーメンス製Desiroディーゼル列車１往復増便された。また、ドブリチを早朝に出発するヴァルナ行（Table1540）列車の戻りが夜遅くに戻る便として運行されている。

 

 

ロシア、ウクライナ、バルト三国

  • CIS諸国およびバルト三国（リトアニア、ラトビア、エストニア）の新しい時刻表は、2005年5月29日から適用開始。ヴィリニュス〜モスクワ間に２本目の列車が増発された（Table1840）。

 

 

フェリー

  • 今月は、船便セクション（510-538ページ）に、いくつかの新しいオペレーターが登場した： ドゥブロヴニク〜バーリ間に夏期航路を開設したAzzurra Line（Table2795）、アンコーナおよびブリンディジ〜チェシュメ間に航路を開設したMarmara Lines（Table2735/85）、イスタンブール〜オデッサ間に航路を開設したUkrferry Shipping Company（Table2760）である。

 

 

2005.Summer

What's new

This edition contains the new summer schedules from June 12. There are new timetables in Great Britain, France, Sweden and Norway, and amendments to timetables in most other countries, notably Germany and Hungary. Please use the May edition for services up to June 11 in these countries. New timetables from May 29 are included for Russia, Ukraine, and the other CIS countries, also the Baltic States. Finland has a new timetable from June 5, and Northern Ireland from June 6. Inevitably some of the amendments did not reach us in time for this edition, and further changes will appear in the July European Rail Timetable. Minor changes are expected in Austria from June 12, and important changes in Portugal are planned from June 19.

 

CAR-CARRYING TRAINS

The Jadran Express will run once weekly during the summer between Praha and Split, and has been added to Table 1. The Praha - Košice car-carrying service has, however, been withdrawn.

 

INTERNATIONAL

There have been structural changes to a number of our international tables this month to allow better coverage of services from Germany to Austria, the Czech Republic, and beyond into south-eastern Europe. Tables 60 and 61 have been combined into Table 60, and the München - Salzburg - Wien route from 61 has been combined with 67 to form new Table 52. To make room for this, Table 55 has been deleted, as most information is contained in Table 1085. Tables 62, 64 and 65 have been expanded.

 

Tables 18/18a There are some changes to Paris - Brussels Thalys trains, affecting the dates of the high-summer period, which has moved by a week. The recently introduced service from Paris to Brussels Nationaal Airport (formerly shown in Table 18a) has been withdrawn.

 

Table 20-Some Köln Hbf - Berlin services will not run on Saturdays, affecting Brussels - Berlin journeys. However, alternative connections can be made from Thalys services at Köln Messe/Deutz and from ICE services by changing at Köln Hbf and Dortmund Hbf.

 

Tables 28, 64, 66 - The Passau - Nürnberg section of train IC 2020 (Passau - Nurnberg - Köln - Hamburg) will run only on Saturdays and Sundays. This service is no-doubt popular with InterRailers and back- packers as it provides a low cost overnight service across Germany with connections from Wien.

 

Tables 30, 32 During construction of the TGV Est line from Paris to Metz/Nancy and Strasbourg, services will be liable to disruption.

 

Table 46 - The Lisboa - Paris train Surex/Sud-Expresso will depart from Lisboa at 1601 all year; previously this train ran two hours later in summer. High-summer trains 4031 (1339 Paris - Irún) and 4030 (1009 Hendaye - Paris) will not run in 2005.

 

Table 50-Due to engineering work on the Oslo - Göteborg line between July 4 and 31, a bus service will operate for part of the journey, resulting in broken connections at Göteborg to and from Malmö and København. Some København - Malmö - Stockholm services will be cut back to Malmö - Stockholm from August 15 causing passengers to change trains.

 

Table 60-From June 12 trains EC 170/171 and EC 174/175 will use Budapest Keleti instead of Nyugati station. Departures from Budapest are 10 minutes earlier. The Budapest - İstanbul couchettes in train 498/9 will reduce from daily to five times a week in summer.

 

Tables 65/68-There will be new Hamburg/Dortmund - Ljubljana / Rijeka train running once-weekly in summer.

 

Table 93-A decision has been made to withdrawn the through Warszawa - Vilnius train Balti, which latterly ran on three days per week. We understand that its last day of operation will be May 28.

 

GREAT BRITAIN

The new timetable is valid from June 12 to December 10 in line with most of Europe, although many of the weekend services are valid only until September 18. There are changes throughout the network, including extensive changes to services operated by Virgin West Coast and Central Trains.

 

FRANCE

The summer timetable is dated from July 3, but in order to include the new timings in this edition, we are showing the timings which apply from June 12 to December 10 (except where shown in individual tables).

 

As usual there are many seasonal variations, as well as those occasioned by engineering work. In holiday areas the high-summer timetable (July 3- Aug. 28) can be significantly different, and this year we have decided to include separate versions of Tables 280 - 285 for this period, which are shown on pages 40/41 and 539/540. This has made these tables, which Cover Brittany and Paris to Nantes and Rennes, much easier to read, and has allowed more trains to be shown. It has also made life a little easier for the Editor! However, please take care that you refer to the correct version.

 

PORTUGAL

The Lisboa - Porto main line saw a small increase in service from May 7, with the evening Lisboa Porto - Braga train becoming daily in both directions (formerly not Saturdays), and two Friday and Sunday trains being increased to daily or six days per week.

A timetable change is expected from June 19, but the only information we have is that the Duoro Valley line (Table 696 Porto - Régua - Pocinho) will have a recast timetable with three IC trains each way. Electrification to Castelo Branco may also be completed in time for a revised timetable to be introduced, and the weekly Comboio Azul (Porto Faro) may be rerouted via the main line and the Ponte 25 Abril bridge, enabling electric traction throughout.

 

SWEDEN

The new schedules from June 12 are shown in our tables. As usual, the short summer season will show a considerable variation in timings from other months, and with much engineering work also taking place during this period, it has not been possible to show the new schedules beyond mid-August for the mainlines, owing to space constraints. A few notable changes are:

Table 745: the line between Kristianstad and Karlskrona has closed to enable electrification to take place; work is expected to last for two years during which time a substitute bus service will operate.

Tables 750/1: engineering work at Göteborg will affect services July 4 -31. In particular, during this period it will not be possible to make a Malmö - Oslo and v.v. journey in the seated portion of the overnight train as it will

not serve Göteborg, where a change would normally be necessary.

Table 752: Operator BK Tåg has ceased business. The state railway-SJ has regained the Linköping to Kalmar and Västervik routes, and MerResor (owned jointly by SJ and a bus company) will operate Nässjö - Hultsfred.

The Berga - Oskarshamn line has closed and the new bus service is now shown.

Table 759: some services will be replaced by bus on summer Sundays; train 94 on July 10, 17, Aug. 14 between Kiruna and Narvik, and Aug. 7 between Boden and Narvik; train 95 on July 10, 17, Aug. 7, 14 between Narvik and Kiruna; train 7009 on Aug. 7 between Gällivare and Luleå.

Table 763: owing to engineering work an amended rail service will operate June 18 July 17, and bus substitutions will apply July 18-23.

 

NORWAY

The Norwegian service pattern remains unchanged with only minor timing changes, although the line between Oslo and Drammen will be closed from July 9 to 31, and services on the Oslo - Kristiansand and Oslo - Sandefjord routes (Tables 775/783) will be replaced by bus between Oslo and Drammen. Services on the Bergen route (Table 780) will be diverted via Roa during this period and passengers from/to Drammen will need to use a special connecting train service between Drammen and Hønefoss. 

 

GERMANY

A recent addition is ICE 1700, a 2300 departure from Berlin Zoo to Hamburg, allowing new international connections from Budapest (EC170; Table 60) and Warszawa (EC 40; Table 56).

 

A number of long-distance service alterations will be implemented from June 12. There are some changes to the running dates of certain ICE services operating via the Köln - Frankfurt high-speed line (Table 910), and alterations to the Dortmund - Hannover - Magdeburg - Leipzig IC service (Table 810). The twice daily Düsseldorf Berlin service via Magdeburg is re-routed to/from Leipzig (meaning the route to Berlin via Brandenburg now has only one scheduled IC service per day in each direction). The Nürnberg - München IC service via Ingolstadt (Table 900) I will be modified and operated mainly by ICE trains. This is achieved by extending a number of Essen - Nürnberg services to the Bavarian capital. Please note that engineering work occasionally affects services at short notice, particularly at weekends. We do endeavour to show details of known service alterations but due to space limitations this is not always possible. Readers are therefore advised to confirm their travel plans locally. Please note that all services in the Berlin area are subject to alteration on July 30, 31, Aug. 13, 14, 20, 21. Long-distance services will generally call at either Zoo or Ost stations (but not both). Regional services will also be affected.

 

POLAND

Poprad-Tatry has been inserted into Table 1078 to increase the connectional possibilities between Kraków and Košice, albeit via a rather circutious route. The new TLK (Tanie Linie Kolejowe) classification has been shown on all applicable services. This literally means "cheap railway lines", and as well as special low-fares, these trains will have an increased staff presence to ensure passenger safety.

 

CZECH REPUBLIC

There are some minor cut-backs to local services from June 12 due to reduced funding from the local authority covering the Usti nad Labem region.

 

HUNGARY

As is customary, a separate summer timetable will apply to services in the Lake Balaton area, affecting Tables 1220, 1225 and the Budapest - Tapolca portion of Table 1230. These tables are valid from June 11 to August 20, but separate versions valid from August 29 will be found at the end of the Hungarian section on page 491.

A number of timetable amendments from June 11 have also been incorporated into the tables. These include the extension of a second Budapest Záhony IC train (numbered 620/3) across the border to and from the Ukrainian town of Chop (Table 1270).

The Tiborszállás-Carei railway border crossing is now open to all, not just Hungarian and Romanian citizens, and Carel has therefore been reinserted into Table 1276. It is reported that trains from Romania to Hungary on these local lines (i.e. from Carel, Salonta and Valea Lui Mihai) often leave a few minutes early, as soon as the on-board customs controls have been completed!

 

BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA

New timings have finally been received for local services in the Bosnian Federation

 

GREECE

New schedules were introduced from mid-April. Changes mainly affect standard gauge routes but there are also minor variations on the Peloponnese network. Of note is the much enhanced service between Thessaloniki and Edessa. However, the long suspended service forward to Kozáni and Florina still shows no sign of resumption; if any reader has Information regarding the status of these works please feel free to contact the editorial team.

 

BULGARIA

As well as some minor re-timings, the Varna - Sofija and Burgas - Sofija lines (Table 1520) have each received an additional return journey using brand new Siemens Desiro diesel trains. These also operate a new early morning service from Dobrich to Varna (Table 1540) returning in the late evening.

 

RUSSIA, UKRAINE & BALTIC STATES

The new timetable for the CIS countries and the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) is effective from May 29, Although there are some gaps in the information received, most trains have been updated with the new timings, which in some cases have changed significantly. A second train has been introduced between Vilnius and Moskva (Table 1840).

 

SHIPPING

Several new operators make it into our Shipping section (pages 510-538) this month: Azzurra Line with a summer service between Dubrovnik and Bari (Table 2795), Marmara Lines with Ancona and Brindisi to Çeşme (Tables 2735/85), and Ukrferry Shipping Company with Istanbul - Odesa (Table 2760).

 

NEXT MONTH

As well as the latest schedule changes, the July edition of the Thomas Cook European Rail Timetable will include our annual Tourist Railways feature, giving running dates and schedules for Europe's most popular tourist and heritage lines.
