ブログ筆者の研究用のデータベースの公開という位置づけです。ご興味あればご参照ください。原文は英語のため、書き起こしから機械翻訳とその後のブログ筆者による加筆と、その後も適宜修正を加えていきます。

本号に掲載された大半のスケジュールは2003年12月13日まで有効だが、イギリスは9月27日まで、スウェーデンは8月17日までそれぞれ有効。スペインについては、あまり正確な情報は入手できていないが、詳細は以下を参考にされたし。その他の例外は、国別見出しまたは各表に記載されている。
【国際列車】
- 英仏海峡トンネル・レールリンクの第一段階（フォーカム・ジャンクションからフォークストン近郊の英仏海峡トンネルまで）が、予定通り2003年9月28日開通する。しかしながら、6月15日（ユーロスター全便運休日）に実施された工事は未完了で終わったため、さらに１日工期延長された。その結果、ユーロスターは7月13日に全便運休となり、開通日の決定はこの工事完了を受けてからとなる。
- ユーロスター列車によるフランスアルプスへ直行するスキー列車の予約は2003年7月1日に開始される。詳細ダイヤを先行掲載している。
- ドイツでは、国際列車に影響する変更がいくつかあり、以下のドイツページ冒頭で紹介する。ドイツ鉄道（DB）の寝台車火災事故を受けて、フランス〜ドイツ間を運行するNZ（Nachtzug）列車の寝台車は引き続き運休している。しかし、10月以降、これらの列車にドイツ製の新型寝台車の導入計画がある。運休となるのは、パリ〜ハンブルク間の夜行列車（237/236列車、Table20）、パリ〜ベルリン間の夜行列車（243/242列車、Table20）、パリ〜ミュンヘン間の夜行列車（262/261列車、Table32）および一部の寝台車連結便である。
【アイルランド】
北アイルランド鉄道は2003年6月30日から有効な新しいダイヤを発表。Table231のリスバーン〜アントリム線がついに廃止される。この路線は約２年前、ベルファスト〜ロンドンデリー間がより直通の「ブリーチ・グリーン」経由に変更された際、辛うじて閉鎖を免れていた。ベルファスト〜ロンドンデリー間の運行体系は簡素化され、平日は110分間隔で運行され、土曜日のダイヤも月〜金と同様である。アルスターバスは6月30日から有効なダイヤ発表し、時刻表内に組み込まれた。
【フランス】
フランスの多くのTableが最終版から再チェックされ、いつものように、先月の暫定情報からの変更点（ほとんどがマイナーなもの）が明らかになった。前述のとおり、今年は２箇所の軌道工事により、これまでにない数の時間修正や迂回が生じた。影響を受けるひとつ、Table 262（リール〜モーブージュおよびシャルルヴィル〜メジエール）で、237ページに8月4日〜30日のみ有効な特別ダイヤを掲載した。リール〜メッツ（メス）間の8月の時刻修正詳細はTable387に提示した。
【スペイン】
- 2003年6月10日、サラゴサを発着するすべての列車がデリシアス新駅に移管され、市内中心部の地下にある鉄道トンネルが再開通した。マドリッド〜リェイダ間の高速新線の開通が大幅に遅れているため、当面の間、新駅の発着時刻のほとんどが旧駅を踏襲することになった。新線開通に関する正式なアナウンスはなかったが、スペイン国鉄は8月3日まで、マドリッド〜バルセロナ間を従来の在来線経由のみで運行すると発表していた。
- 既存の高速路線のダイヤは6月15日から若干変更され、マドリッド〜セビージャ間の所要時間が５分延びている。同時に行われた長距離列車の変更点は、マドリッド発アンダイエおよびビルバオ行の午後のタルゴ列車（201/251列車）の時刻変更である。この列車は現在、アンダイエには毎日22:00に到着し、パリ行の夜行列車 4052列車 ラ・パロンブ・ブルー号との接続を回復している。
【スウェーデン】
本号の繁忙期ダイヤは2003年8月17日まで有効。変更点が多く、次号8月号では、8月18日以降の新設列車のみを掲載する。8月17日までの時刻は、本号（7月号）を参照のこと。
【ドイツ】
2003年6月中旬よりドイツの時刻表が変更され、それに伴いドイツページも更新した。主な変更点は以下の通り：
- シュトゥットガルト〜ベルリン／ハンブルク間の夜行列車は9月末で運行を取りやめる。同様にドルトムント〜チューリッヒ／ミュンヘンの夜行列車も10月末で運行を取りやめる。この2列車の取りやめを補うため、CNL（シティー・ナイト・ライン）アムステルダム〜チューリッヒ／ミュンヘン間が、デュイスブルク、デュッセルドルフ、ケルン、ボン、コブレンツに追加で途中停車することになる。
- ベルリン〜ドルトムント〜ケルン間のICEの大半はデュッセルドルフ止まりとなり（ヴッパータール経由便は引き続きケルンまで運行される）、ドレスデン〜ハノーファー〜ケルン間のICEの一部はドルトムントまたはデュッセルドルフ止まりに変更される。7月14日〜9月27日に実施されるハンブルク〜ベルリン間での工事に伴い同区間を経由する列車の所要時間が延びる予定。そのため当該Table840の別バージョンを287ページに掲載し、この期間の修正ダイヤを示した。
- ハンブルク〜ベルリン〜クラクフ間のインターシティ列車は、ハンブルク発ベルリン行は月〜土のみ、ベルリン発ハンブルク行は土曜日を除く毎日運行となる。なおベルリン〜クラクフ間は引き続き毎日運行となる。7月5、6日の両日、ベルリン・ツォー駅と東駅の間で行われる軌道工事のため、ベルリン地区で運行される便に変更が生じる可能性がでてきた。変更の概要はドイツページを参照のこと。毎年恒例のベルリン・ラブ・パレードが7月12日と13日に開催されるため、運行ダイヤが変更される可能性がある。
【オーストリア】
ここは2003年6月15日からのダイヤ改正を踏まえて更新した。最も注目すべき変更点は、ウィーン〜ザルツブルグ間のリンツのみ停車する速達便が２本増便されたことだ（Table950）。朝のウィーン〜ブレゲンツ間のÖEC562列車は５０分のスピードアップを果たし、ウィーン発6:10となって、ウィーン〜リンツ間は毎日運転となった。ウィーン発1934のザルツブルグ行IC746も同様にスピードアップしている。逆方向（ザルツブルク→ウィーン）の新しい速達列車として、ザルツブルク発6:00（IC541）と17:05発（EC69）が挙げられる。また、Table950では、ÖEC661 ブレゲンツ発16:45ウィーン行が毎日運転となった。Table980（ウィーン〜フィラッハ間）では、ÖEC633も35分スピードアップ、ウィーン南駅発車時刻が18:20に変更された。その他列車も今回のダイヤ改正に合わせて、運行時刻の変更が生じている。
【ポーランド】
2003年7月1日以降、約350本のローカル列車が削減予定だが、これに関する続報は入っていない。
【チェコ】
2003年6月15日付で軽微なダイヤ修正が行われた。
【スロヴァキア】
運休していたいくつかの支線が、2003年6月15日以降、地域自治体の資金援助により運転再開されている。このうち、Hronská Dúbrava発Banská Štiavnica行（Table1175）は、当Tableに掲載されている唯一の支線である。また、ブラチスラヴァ〜トルナヴァ間（Table1180）では、軌道工事の影響で当該区間を走行する列車に最大30分の遅れが出ている。
【ロシア】
サンクトペテルブルクの新しいLadozhski駅がネヴァ川の北側に2003年5月末に正式開業した。この新駅は最終的にフィンランド方面の全列車の発着駅となる予定だが、今のところモスクワ〜ヘルシンキ間のレフ・トルストイ号のみが途中停車するのみ（時刻は未発表）、サンクトペテルブルク〜ヘルシンキ間のレーピン号とシベリウス号の発着がフィンリャンスキー駅からLadozhski駅に変更されるのは8月10日以降になる見込み。
Most schedules in this edition are valid to December 13, with the exception of those in Great Britain, which are valid to September 27, and Sweden, valid to August 17. We are not able to be so precise about Spanish timings - see below for more details. Other exceptions are shown in country headings or on individual tables.
INTERNATIONAL
We were hoping to bring you confirmation that phase one of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (Fawkham Junction to the Channel Tunnel near Folkestone) would open as scheduled on September 28. However, the engineering work carried out on June 15 (when the entire Eurostar service was suspended) was not completed, and a further day has been scheduled. As a result, all Eurostar services will be suspended on July 13, and no decision on the opening date will be made until after this work has been carried out. We now expect to be able to show the accelerated timings (saving about 15 minutes) in our August edition, along with confirmation of 13 the opening date.
As bookings for the Eurostar ski trains open on July 1, we are showing advance details of the schedules at the foot of this page. There are some changes in Germany affecting International services, which are shown below under the Germany heading. The sleeping cars in the NZ (Nachtzug) trains running between France and Germany continue to be suspended, following the fire in a DB sleeping car. However, there are plans to introduce new German sleepers into these trains from October. Those affected are the overnight trains Paris - Hamburg (train 237/236, Table 20), Paris Berlin (243/242, Table 20) and Paris - München (262/261, Table 32), as well as certain car-carrying services.
IRELAND
Northern Ireland Railways have issued a new timetable valid from June 30, which will finally see the closure of the Lisburn - Antrim line in Table 231. This line narrowly avoided closure about two years ago, when the Belfast - Londonderry services were rerouted via the more direct 'Bleach Green' route. The latter service has been simplified - weekday trains run at intervals of 110 minutes, and Saturday schedules are the same as Monday to Friday. Ulsterbus have issued amendments valid from June 30 and these have 12 been incorporated into the timetables.
FRANCE
Many French tables have been rechecked from final sources, which, as e always, has revealed numerous changes (mostly minor) from the provisional information used for most tables last month. As previously mentioned, 2 engineering work is responsible for an unprecedented number of timing variations and diversions this year. One table affected is 262 (Lille - Maubeuge and Charleville-Mézières), which has a special version on page 237 valid August 4 - 30. The Lille - Metz trains continue on to Table 387, which has been revamped to show the August variations in more detail.
SPAIN
The transfer of all Zaragoza train services to the new Delicias station was completed on June 10 with the reopening of the rail tunnel under the city centre. For the time being, pending the much delayed opening of the Madrid - Lleida high-speed line, the old timetable has been restored with almost all timings at the new station the same as they were at the old. As we went to press, although no formal announcement had been made about the opening of the new line, Spanish railways were advertising the availability of Madrid - Barcelona services by the existing 'classic' route only until August 3. Services on the existing high-speed line were slightly amended with effect from June 15 and journey times between Madrid and Sevilla have been extended by five minutes. The other main change to long-distance services made at the same time was the retiming of the afternoon Talgo (201/251) from Madrid to Hendaye and Bilbao: this train now arrives in Hendaye at 2200 seven days a week, restoring the connection to the overnight Paris train 4052 La Palombe Bleue.
In Mallorca the regional government's continuing programme of rail modernisation has seen the reopening of the line from Inca to Manacor (eventually to be extended to Artà) and the introduction of a regular-interval timetable with trains from Palma to Inca every 35 minutes, continuing alternately to Sa Pobla and Manacor (Table 674).
SWEDEN
The high-season schedules in this edition are valid to August 17. Due to the large number of changes, the August European Timetable will show only the new services from August 18, as it will not be possible to show both timetable periods in the same edition. For timings up to August 17 please continue to use the July edition.
GERMANY
There have been a number of alterations to the German timetable effective from mid-June, and our German pages have been updated accordingly. The principal changes are summarised as follows:
The overnight trains Stuttgart - Berlin/Hamburg will cease at the end of September. The Dortmund - Zürich/München night trains will also cease at the end of October, although the CNL Amsterdam - Zürich/München will call additionally at Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Köln, Bonn and Koblenz to compensate for this withdrawal.
Most Berlin Dortmund - Köln ICE services are cut back to Düsseldorf (services via Wuppertal continue to serve Köln) whilst certain Dresden - Hannover - Köln IC services are cut back to Dortmund or Düsseldorf. Journey times for most services between Hamburg and Berlin are extended due to engineering work between July 14 and September 27. We have included a separate version of Table 840, which can be found on page 287, showing revised timings during this period.
The Hamburg - Berlin - Kraków IC train operates from Hamburg to Berlin on Mondays to Saturdays only, and daily except Saturdays from Berlin to Hamburg. It continues to operate daily between Berlin and Kraków. On July 5 and 6, services in the Berlin area are subject to change due to engineering work between Zoo and Ost stations. An outline of the changes. can be found in the relevant German tables, although travellers are strongly advised to check times locally. Service alterations are also possible on July 12 and 13 during the annual Berlin Love-Parade event.
AUSTRIA
Tables have now been updated to include alterations from June 15. The most notable changes are two additional accelerated services in each direction between Wien and Salzburg, stopping only at Linz (table 950). The morning Wien Bregenz train (ÖEC 562) is accelerated by 50 minutes overall, departing Wien at 0610, and now runs daily between Wien and Linz. The 1934 Wien Salzburg train (/C746) similarly accelerated. In the opposite direction new fast services depart Salzburg at 0600 (train /C541) and at 1705 (train EC 69). Also in table 950, the 1645 Bregenz - Wien (train ÖEC 661) now runs daily throughout. Between Wien and Villach (table 980) train ÖEC 633 is accelerated by 35 minutes and now departs Wien Süd at 1820. Certain other services have been retimed to accommodate these new schedules.
POLAND
We have received no further news of the proposed cuts of about 350 local services from July 1. If this does take place, it is likely to involve those services shown with the symbol in our tables.
CZECH REPUBLIC
Amendments from June 15 have been incorporated into our tables, but are of a very minor nature.
SLOVAKIA
Several recently closed branch lines have reopened from June 15 with regional funding, including Hronská Dúbrava to Banská Štiavnica (Table 1175), which is the only one of these which is shown in our tables. There are currently delays of up to 30 minutes between Bratislava and Trnava (Table 1180) due to track work.
RUSSIA
St Peterburg's new Ladozhski station, on the north side of the River Neva, was officially inaugurated at the end of May. Although it is intended that the new station will eventually handle all trains to and from Finland, so far only the Moskva Helsinki Lev Tolstoi calls there (no timings published) and transfer of the St Petersburg - Helsinki trains Repin and Sibelius from the Finlyandski to the Ladozhski station is not now expected to happen before August 10.
