Congratulations to my father and mother on 57 years of marriage!
Today is their wedding anniversary.
My parents have 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren (曾孫）.
I'm their oldest child. I have known my mother since she was 19 years old, and my father since he was 23 years old. That's how old they were when I was born.
I messaged my mother to see how they will celebrate today. She is baking a cake now, and they will go out to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. I used to go to the same restaurant with my parents over 40 years ago, when I still lived in Texas.
My parents are my heroes. I hope that my husband and I celebrate a happy 57 year wedding anniversary too. We still have 26 years to go! （残り26年）
