2023年1月より
家族（バリキャリ妻と3歳娘）で
シンガポールに移住しました
主夫のローです。
先週から英語の勉強のために
英語の語学学校に通ってます。
週2回 1日2時間のクラスで
アッパーインターメディエイト（中上級クラス）
クラスメイトは全員女性で
7人（日本人私だけ）いますが
お友達になったのが
韓国人30代移住妻と
韓国人30代母子留学妻
それに２０代女子大生
の3人
授業が午前中なので
授業後に一緒にラーメン食べてきました。
昼間からビールやないかい！
１１時半から
オーチャード
（銀座のようなとこ）で
アジアンビューティーに
囲まれてお酒飲む
≒勝ち組です(笑)
同じクラスなので
語学レベルが同じくらい
みんな一生懸命英語話して
楽しく学べる
いやぁ～
10か月前まで日本で汗くさい職人に囲まれ
建築現場で監督してた人間が
こんな生活してるなんて(笑)
めっちゃ楽しい！
英語上達のコツ、掴みました
話したい人がいる
話したことがある
大事なのは
モチベーションですよね。
そして、
モチベーションは
楽しくないと続かない
楽しいと続くし上達する。
ここから加速度的に
英語力上げていきます。
因みに週2回の今の授業は
3月いっぱいで
4月から週５で1日3時間の
クラスでやっていきます。
アジアン美女たちとは違うクラスになりますが
お友達になってるので、ランチは続けて行きます(笑)

mily (my career-focused wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and myself) relocated to Singapore.
I'm a stay-at-home dad. Last week, I started attending an English language school to study English.
I have classes twice a week for two hours each day, and I am in the upper-intermediate (high intermediate) class. There are seven classmates, including me, and all of them are women.
I've become friends with three of them, including a Korean woman in her 30s who moved to Singapore, a Korean woman in her 30s who is studying abroad with her child, and a 20-year-old female college student. Since classes are in the morning, we went to eat ramen together after class.
We had some beer during the day!
Since we are all in the same class, our language proficiency is about the same, and we can have fun learning English by talking to each other. It's so much fun, and it's a far cry from my previous job as a supervisor on a construction site surrounded by sweaty craftsmen just ten months ago.
I figured out the secret to improving my English: having someone to talk to, and having had experiences talking in English before.
Ultimately, it's all about motivation.
If it's not fun, it won't continue, and if it's enjoyable, it will continue and improve.
From here, I plan to rapidly increase my English proficiency.
By the way, my current classes, which are twice a week, will end in March.
Starting in April, I will be taking a five-day-a-week, three-hour-a-day class, which is a different class from the one with the Asian beauties.
However, since we have become friends, we will continue to have lunch together (laughs).
