石垣島ドライブのことを逐一書くのはやめることにした。
日が経つにつれて印象が薄れてきたためである。
しかしこの珍植物だけは捨て置けぬ：
毛がヘビという気の毒な怪女メデューサの頭部が
獄門台に並べられているかのような光景だ。
ヘンすぎて写真を撮ったが、S藤にも筆者にも何の植物かさっぱりわからなかったので、
元整形外科医院が高齢者住宅になったヤツがさらにホテルになったという
筆者ら滞在の激安ホテルのカウンターのお兄さんに聞いたら、
苦もなく答えが返ってきたのがさすがであった。
答えを披露する。

I decided I'm not going to write everything that happened during our
drive around the island.
Because, now that 4 weeks has already passed,
much of the fresh impressions I got has been faded, for one.
However, I must share this, this strange, weird, unearthly plant I found on the road
with readers. Behold, people:
Wow...they're so weird.....
It's like many of that poor, snake-haired Medusa are decapitated, and
the heads are displayed in line.
Either S-to or I had no idea what these could be, so I asked a man at the
front desk of the hotel we stayed, which I learned had been an orthopedic hospital
originally that had become an elderly housing before it had been converted
into an economy hotel, and he answered so easily
