前回、冷蔵庫の憎憎しいしゃべるものについての
悲喜こもごもな感想を述べたわけだが、その後、
こいつ亡きあとのことを考えると不安になったので、
「冷蔵庫 閉め忘れ 防止」 でググって類似商品を探したら、
類似どころかそのものがそのままのナリでまだ売っていた。
しかし、同じ商品を買ってしまっては勝てぬケンカを
永遠に続けねばならぬ。
そんなのは論外だから、もちろん無視して他の商品を探す筆者は、
間もなく姉妹品
「冷蔵庫のふなっしー」
を発見するのだった。
開けすぎていると
「いつまで開けてるなっしー！！」
と言って怒るらしい。
筆者は常々ふなっしーのことを憎からず思っているから、
仲良くできそうではあるが、
H80×W72×D42mm
という非常識すぎる巨大さに加え、３７８０円というありえない値段につき、
却下である。
作ったヤツは一体何を考えているのだろうか。
値段は著作権料込みということで理解してやってもいいが、
どう考えても大きすぎる。
他のは・・・・と探して気が付いたが、他のもすべて同じメーカーの姉妹品なのだ。
日本にはこのテの商品はここしか作っていないらしい。
なぜなのだろう。 こんなに便利なのに。
あわわ、しまった「こんなに便利」とか白状してしまった！！くそう！！
また負けである。
さて、姉妹品であるが、英語でしゃべるのや方言をしゃべるのもあるが、
どれもいま一つ筆者の心を熱くしない。
でも後継機があるのが分かって安心したから、
今のが死んでからまた考えることにした。
その頃ふなっしーの小さいのができていますように。
いや、ちっちゃいおっさんのができていますように。
いや、待てよ、いっそのことジム・カヴィーゼルが：
「冷蔵庫を閉め忘れるキミってたまらなくせくしーだな、ベイビー。」
とか言うヤツ作ったらんかい。

I wrote about the frickin' thing I kinda hate that speaks in my fridge
the day before yesterday, and it made me worry about what I should do
when the thing dies.
So, I did a Google search with: fridge, "forget to close," prevent
to find that what I have is still in the market.
But would I want the same frickin' thing? ―Hell, no.
So I kept on searching, and found something called:
"Funassyi in Fridge."
(By the way, did anyone know that this is what the pear fairy's
name is spelled out in English?!)
Manufactured by the same maker that manufactures the one I have,
this gets upset when the fridge door is left open and says,
"How long do you think you're gonna open the door?!"
Being always fond of Funassyi, I will like this one, but, WAIT!!
I don't like it's size or price!
H80×W72×D42mm ?!?! Are they crazy?!
And, \3,780?! Are they high?!
Okay, this is out of question.
I understand the price; it includes the royalty to Funassyi.
But the size?!
I have no space for such a gigantic gadget in my fridge.
I mean, who does?!
I went on searching, and came to realize that whatever
I find, it's always the product of the same line by the same manufacturer.
Seems like this type of products is made solely by them.
I don't understand. They're so handy!!
Oh, no!! I said it!! I frickin' admitted I think it's handy!!
Another loss to the frickin' thing, goddammit!!!
Now, the line includes the ones that speak English and
other ones that speak Japanese dialects, but none impresses me.
I need something nicer.
But, now that I know that I don't have to worry about having to live
without anything that warns me about the fridge door left open after
mine dies, I'm relieved.
I can look for a new model they offer the time when I really need one.
Who knows; maybe there'll be smaller Funassyi.
Or Chicchai Ossan model would be very nice.
No, wait!!
How about one with Jim Caviezel'ｓ voice that goes:
"You know, the way you leave the fridge door open really turns me on, baby"
or somethinig like that?!
Yeah, that'll be splendid!!
OMG, I'm sooo excited just to imagine it in my kitchen!!
Whoever are designing those things, listen to me carefully and follow that line!!!
