近所の靴の修理屋のにいちゃんが、
何年も事務上の会話以外したことがなかったのに、
先日、突如として、
「○○さん、その髪の色がめっちゃくちゃイメージにぴったりだなと
いつも思ってるんですよ。」
と言いだすのだった。
しかも名前付きであるから、なんとなくびっくりした筆者であった。
コイツは・・・・
もしかしてだけど、
もしかしてだけど、
この熟女のアタシにホレちゃってるんじゃないの？？
ま、そんなわけないが、ちょうどいいから言ってみたくて。

There's this shoe repair guy in the shoe repair shop
in my neighborhood.
I have had my shoes repaired by him for maybe more than 10 years.
All these years, we've never had any unnecessary conversations, like small talks.
And, the other day, he suddenly, really so suddenly, said this:
"Ms. XXXX, the color of your hair, it really suits you.
All these years I've always thought so whenever I saw you!"
He even used my surname.
It quite surprised me.
