前にも書いたが、筆者は激甘でないと
お菓子だと思えないので、アメリカ人のお菓子が
結構好きである。
そんな筆者が大好きな
ナビスコのNewtonsというお菓子があるのだが↓：
これを帰国の度に買って来てくれる、大変に気の利く在米友人を持つ
運の神様に愛された筆者なのである。
その友人Kたんから年末に帰って来るとのお知らせメールが届き、
こんな楽しげな写真がついていた：
ギャアー！！なんじゃこらああ！！
コイツはもう、ニュートン祭りである。
筆者、この周りで盆踊りを踊ってもいい。
オリジナルのイチジクが入っているのしか
知らなかったのに、こんなに種類があるなんて！！
さっそくネットで詳細を調べ、下記のようにKたんに注文だ：
・ストロベリーと
・アップルシナモンと
・100％ホールグレインフィグと
・スイートピーチアプリコットを
３個ずつと
・100％ホールグレイントリプルベリーを
５個頼むわ。
超楽しみ。も、超楽しみ。
あ、Kたんに会うのが、であるもちろん。

Since I can't be satisfied with sweets that are not really sweet,
like I wrote in an article some time ago,
I kinda like American sweets.
They're ridiculously sweet.
And THAT's what I call sweet.
I particularly love Nabisco's NEWTONS↓：
I have a friend who's temporarily living in the US and
buys some of these and brings back to Japan for me
everytime she comes back to Japan.
God, I'm lucky.
So lucky that the only explanation I can think of is that
the god of fortune keeps smiling at me.
She, K-tan her name is, sent me an email last night telling me
that she and her family were gonna come back to Japan to spend their new year holidays,
and this fun photo was attached↓：

Oh my god!! It's a NEWTONS exhibition spree!
It's so fun to look at.
This makes me so excited that I can dance my bon-dance around this
store rack. Three rounds, perhaps.
I knew only the one with fig in it.
But they have all these varieties?!
I gathered information throught the Internet to place an order with K-tan
as follows:
3 of each of
・Strawberry
・Apple Cinnamon
・100％ Whole Grain Fig
・Sweet Peach Apricot
and 5 of
・100％ Whole Grain Triple Berries
please!!
So excited. I AM SOOOO excited.
