How's your Obon? How'er your ancestors doing lately?
I have decorated the family shrine to the Bon setting.
I can't afford any more punishment from my ancestors
than I've already been incurred.
Talking about Obon, it's the Nara Park candle night "Tohkae" season!
Of course I went see the event with my friend Bary-san.
It seems at any event I go this summer, I see more girls in Yukata
this year than any other years.
I'm impressed.
I don't think Yukata suits the heat of Japanese summer any longer.
But their enthusiasm toward fashion seems to overcome this crazy heat.
I adore their energy. I can't wear that thing any more.
Cuz ever since I turned 40, I sweat like a horse even in Tshirt.

Ukimido pavilion
I'm almost sure I took a very similar photo last year.
The 5 storied pagoda, Kofukuji Temple A national treasure!!!
The Kongo-rikishi Gardian, Todaiji Temple Another national treasure!!!
We found an extraordinarily strange thing.
Kumamoto City's Tourist Bureau Staff (which I really don't know)
"Kumamon" was in a souveir shop in Nara,
integrated with Nara things, introducing things like Nara's famous "deer meal"!!!!!!
WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!
Bary-san and I were so excited by this.
And what was complicating the situation even more;
this Bary-san looks exactly like the Imabari City's ad character!!
I am impressed by the flexibility of Kumamoto City staff.
I wanted this, but not as much as buying this, and then
Bary-san bought this for me!!!
Thank you, Bary-san!!
