ご無沙汰していましたわね。このあたくし、
「自転車で行くポリネシア一周の旅」
に行っておりましたの。
何ですって？自転車漕ぐの、大変でしたか？ですって？！
ま！ホホホホ！！
あたくしは漕いでおりませんのよ、当然じゃありませんこと？
漕いだのはもちろん、生まれたときからあたくし専属の
お抱え自転車漕ぎストをしているマイクル・サイクルですわ。
「生まれたときから」 というのは、あたくしが、じゃありませんのよ、
マイクルが、です。
ですから、大変だったのはマイクルだけ。あたくしは前カゴに
入っていただけです。
でも、なにしろポリネシアですから、水上サイクル率も高くて、
前カゴに乗っているのだってあんた、思ったよりエライことでしたわ。
あたくしだって、ラクしていただけではございませんの。
さて（ここからホント）、このあたくし、実家からアパートに帰る120mほどの距離で、
夕べ、流れ星を見たましたのよ。
流れ星って、田舎の星がたくさん見えるとこでしか
見れないと思われがちかもしれませんわね。
でも、晴れていて、かつ月が隠れている夜なら、も全然ヨユーですの。
このあたくしは平均的なケースよりは空を見ながら夜に歩きがち
だとは思いますけれど、とはいえ、1週間に5分ぐらいしか見ませんけど
11月にも1回見ましたもんね。ヨユーですわ。
ただし、天の川が見えるようなゴージャスな夜空で見る流れ星と
全然違うのは、一番明るいとき、つまり最後の燃え尽きるあたり
しか見えないことですのよ。
てなわけですから、一瞬しか見えませんから、願い事を3回言って
実現化するとかの野望がある場合はお話にも何にもなりゃしませんの。（ホントの部分終わり）
もちろんこのあたくしは、何もかも持って生まれていますから、願い事なんて
しようとも思ったこともございませんわ。ホホ。

It's been a while, isn't it? I've been on a:
'Cycle trip around Polynesia'.
What did you say? "Was pedaling hard for you?" was it?
Oh!! Ho, ho, ho, ho. ho!!
No! I didn't pedal the bike!! That's impossible, isn't it?
It was of course Micheal Cycle, my private bike-pedalist since birth!
By 'since birth', I mean; since the day Michael was born, not me.
So, it was Michael who did all the work, and I was just on the basket on the
front wheel.
But, it's Polynesia, you know? So, on many occasions, we were on the ocean.
That means I was on the basket on the ocean, which was pretty hard for me too.
So don't think Michael was the only one who suffered.
Now, (true part begins) I saw a shooting star last night on my 120m-way back
from my mom's house to my apartment.
You might think you can only see shooting stars in the countryside, where
the sky is filled with stars or something
But it's not at all that hard. It just has to be clear without the Moon.
That's all. It's really that easy.
It's true that I tend to walk at night looking up at the sky more often
than most people, but still, I look at the stars only for 5 minutes per week or so.
And I saw one in November, too. You see how not special it is?
One thing that is different about the shooting stars here from somewhere
where you can see the Milky Way is that they can be seen only for a very
short time; the very last brightest moment only.
Therefore, if you have an ambition to say your wish 3 times with the
aim to realize it, you're after all in a wrong place. (true part ends)
I, for one, having everything since the day I was born, never dreamt
about having any wish of course. Ho, ho.
