先日まで叔父が入院してまして、
見舞いに行きましたらこんな張り紙がしてありました：
My uncle was in hospital until last weekend.
I went to see him, and found this:
"Call a nurse when you want to go to the bathroom. Thanks."
筆者、病気でもないですが、癒されました。
すばらしいと思います。
筆者が書いたら、多分この、最後の
「ね」
を書かないです。
この
「ね」
がなかったら全然です。タダの注意事項です。
筆者は一人ぼっちで死ぬことがほぼ確定しているので、
病院で過ごす生涯最後の日々に、もし、この張り紙がしてもらえたら、
ものすごく嬉しく思うのではないかと想像します。
看護師さん、すごいです。
