バーナルハイツ地区に2022年にオープンした人気ブレックファースト＆ブランチのお店
Four Chairs
久しぶりのブランチ
パートナーが見つけてくれました。
少し列ができていましたが、前のグループが人数が多かったようで、
私たちはそこまで待たずにすみました。
タブレットでWaitlistに名前を記入しておくと、テーブルが空いたときに、携帯にお知らせがきます。
5人以上のグループは結構待っていたような感じがします。
店内も多くの人で賑わっていました。
外は涼しい日だったものの、窓際に座ったところ、思いがけず日差しが強く熱くて驚きました。
メニューは、テーブル上のコードをスキャンして確認。
オーダーはスタッフの人に。
どれも食べてみたくなるような魅力的な写真で、迷いました。
ドリンクは全部試してみたいと思ってしまいましたが、今回選んだのは、ストロベリー抹茶ラテ（オートミルク）とボルケーノコーヒー（オートミルク）
ストロベリー抹茶ラテ（オートミルク）
抹茶の味がしっかりとしていて、甘すぎず、飲みやすく、美味しかったです。
ボルケーノコーヒー

ボルケーノコーヒーは、日本のミルクコーヒーを思い出すような味でした。こちらも美味しかったです。
紫色の飲み物butterfly lycheeを注文している人が割といたので、気になりました。
アップルソーセージ
揚げたポテトとトースト付き。チキンアップルソーセージ、アボカド、赤ピーマン、チェダーチーズ。
トーストは、チャバタ、全粒粉パン、サワードゥから選べます。
追加料金を払うとイングリッシュマフィンに。
チッポートレベネディクト
スパイシーチキンチョリソー、アボカド、ハラペーニョ、チッポートレオランデーズソースと半熟卵がイングリッシュマフィンの上に。揚げたポテトとサラダ付き。
ボリュームが結構あって、お腹いっぱいになりました。
メニューを見るとアジアの影響があることが伝わります。アメリカン＋アジアンフュージョン料理
お好み焼きフライも気になりましたが、お腹がいっぱいになると思い断念。
チキンとワッフルやパンケーキも人気のようなので、今度試してみたいです。

Hello everyone!
A popular breakfast and brunch place that opened in Bernal Heights District in 2022;
Four Chairs
It’s located in the border of Mission and Bernal Heights.
It’s been a while since the last time we had brunch. My partner found this place this time around. There was a little line but we didn’t have to wait that long as some groups before us were big groups and had to wait until a big table opened. Meanwhile, a small table for two got open first. After you put your name on a waiting list on a tablet, you will get a notification to your mobile phone when a table is ready. I think a group with more than 5 was waiting for a while. It was packed inside and people were enjoying their meals. Although it was cool outside, it got very hot when we sat by the window due to a strong sunlight, which was surprising. They closed the blinds which helped a lot.
You can see menu by scanning a QR code on a table and making an order with the staff. It was difficult to decide what to order as all pictures on the menu looked delicious. I wish I could try all drinks. We had the Strawberry Matcha Latte (oat milk) and Volcano Coffee (oat milk). Strawberry Matcha Latte was tasty with a good flavor of matcha, not too sweet and easy to drink. The Volcano Coffee reminded of Japanese milk coffee and it tasted well. I saw many customers had a purple colored drink, which was called Butterfly Lychee and it made me want to try.
As brunch, we had Chicken Apple Scramble and Chipotle Benedict.
Chicken Apple; Scrambled eggs with “chicken apple sausage, avocado, roasted red bell pepper, cheddar” and it comes with potato fried and a choice of toast.
Chipotle Benedict; ”Spicy chicken chorizo, avocado, jalapeno, chipotle hollandaise” on top of English muffins with potato fries and house salad.
They were good volume and we both got full. You could tell they are Asian-inspired American breakfast and brunch by looking at menu. I was curious about Okoyomiyaki Fries but gave up as I knew I’d be so full. Apparently, their Chicken & Waffle and Mascarpone Pancake are popular and I want to try them next time.
