Piccino Coffee Bar
イタリア風カリフォルニア料理レストランPiccinoの系列店で、すぐ隣にそのレストランとバーがあります。
レストラン用には、アウトドアスペースがあるようでした。
コーヒー屋さん自体は、店内に席がないので、近くの公園を使うとよいかもしれません。
黄色い建物が印象的。
現在、ここのコーヒーは、2020年バークレー発のBassline Coffeeを使っています。
モカとラテ
オートミルクやアーモンドミルクにすると1ドル追加
少しお高めの値段設定だと思いました。
コーヒー以外の飲み物に、抹茶ラテ、チャイラテ、レモネードがありました。
パスタやちょっとしたお惣菜もありました。
最初に行った日は、ペイストリーが全部売り切れだったので、チョコレートチップクッキーの元を買ってみました。
家のオーブントースターで焼いたらこんな感じに
出来立てのクッキー美味しかったです。
次に行った時には少しペストリー買いました。お店で作られているようです。

長方形の形をしたスコーン。生姜の味はそこまで強くなく、ほんのり風味がついている程度でした。さっぱりと食べやすかったです。
バナナマフィン
甘さ控えめ。しっとりかつふわふわでした。
チョコレートチップクッキー
2006年から続いているレストランも気になるので今度行ってみたいです。

The coffee shop in the Dogpatch district;
Piccino Coffee Bar
It is affiliated with the “Italian inspired California Cuisine” restaurant, Piccino and the restaurant and bar are located next to one another. There is an outdoor space for the restaurant. The coffee shop didn’t have any tables and seats inside so it might be good to go to the nearby park across the street.
The yellow building was pretty.As of now, they use Bassline Coffee from Berkeley that started in 2020. We got mocha and latte as usual. They charge a dollar for oat milk or almond milk. Besides coffee, they have Matcha Latte, Chai Latte, Lemonade and so on.
It was a bit of high-end. You could buy some pasta or little dishes as well.
When we went there for the first time, all the pastries were sold out so we decided to buy the chocolate chip cookie dough and baked them at home. It was fun and cookies were good.
Next time we went, we got some pastries; a Ginger Scone, a Banana Muffin and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. Apparently, they are house-made.
Ginger Scone; A rectangular-shaped scone was unique. The flavor of ginger wasn’t that strong but light. It was refreshing and easy to eat.
Banana Muffin; It wasn’t too sweet which was good and it was moist and fluffy.
I’m curious about the Italian restaurant that’s been on business since 2006 and want to try there in the future.
