〈世界に広げなければならないメッセージ〉
Une marche a été organisée pour appeler à l’abolition des armes nucléaires mardi à New York, où se déroule la conférence d’examen du Traité de non-prolifération des armes nucléaires. Un survivant du bombardement atomique de Hiroshima en 1945 y a participé.
People calling for the abolition of nuclear arms, including a 1945 Hiroshima atomic bombing survivor, marched on Tuesday in New York, where a review conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is underway.
Une centaine de personnes se sont rassemblées devant le siège de l’ONU. L’événement a été organisé par des organisations non gouvernementales.
About 100 people participated in the rally outside the UN building. The event was planned by non-governmental organizations.
Sakuma Kunihiko, qui a survécu à la bombe atomique lâchée sur Hiroshima, était présent. Il portait un panneau disant : « L’humanité et la planète d’abord ! »
A survivor who experienced the bombing in Hiroshima, Sakuma Kunihiko, took part, bearing a banner saying that humanity and the planet come first.
Un des organisateurs a déclaré qu’il était important d’essayer de toutes les manières possibles de faire passer le message.
An organizer said that it is important for people to try every single way they can to get the message across.

今回のデモ行進はかなりショックでした。動画を見たのですが、若者が参加していません。年配の方ばかりです。
私自身も戦争を知らない世代ですが、小学校の頃は図書館で「はだしのゲン」を読んでいたし、職業柄、外国の方と平和記念公園によく行くので、ここまで世代間で認識の違いがあることに気が付いていませんでした。若い世代にとってはチェルノブイリや福島原発事故の方が記憶に新しいということでしょうか？あれは戦争ではないんですけれどもね。
こういうことは時間との勝負...ということが分かりました。
「広島」の記憶をとどめている外国の方が少なくなっているとしたら、とても悲しく思います。
