Jutlandia Cup has completed yesterday. It was a long event lasted for a week, but the last day came in no time. I couldn't update the blog of Friday as I didn't have the time, but, Lady performed very well with the result of the 1st place in the JP2 and the 2nd place in the AG2. As for the Open class designed by Sandra, she had 2 bars and 1 refusal. Anyway, Lady can move up to the Class 3.

昨日でユトランディアカップが終わった。一週間に及ぶ長い大会だが、あっという間に最終日となった。金曜日のブログは時間がなくて書けなかったが、レディはJP2度1位、AG 2度   2位と健闘してくれた。オープンクラスはイタリアのサンドラのコースでバー落下二本と、拒絶が入ってしまった。なにはともあれ、レディはコレで3度へ昇格出来た。

The last day, I am to run in AG2 and JP2, and judge the Final to be held at the end. It will be my last chance to run with Lady during my European tour this time. I want to complete it pleasantly. First one in the morning is Marco's course.

最終日、この日はAG 2,JP 2を走って最後のファイナルの、審査をやることになっている。レディと、このヨーロッパ遠征で走るのは最後となる。気持ち良く終わらせたい。朝一のジャンピングはマルコのコース

From the last tunnel to the goal, there were several options, to make her turn inside or outside. I finally decided to make her turn inside and inside though the distance may be longer. I ran as I planed until the last tunnel. "Well, after I put her into the tunnel.....," at the moment I thought so, I saw the blue sky. I stood up quickly, but my position isn't right. So, I had to make her turn outside and outside, then made the goal. Clean run and the 3rd place. The plan I made after such careful consideration was wasted. Life may be like that sometimes. You try to swim with the stream, but encounter an accident turns you into a thorny path. However, it turned out to be all right in the end. Sometimes things don't go as planned.

最後のトンネル後からゴールまでの処理を内に回すか、外に回すか何通りかの選択肢があった。最終的に距離は長いかもしれないが、流れのスムーズさを考えて内回し、内回しで走ることに決めた。最後のトンネルまでは予定通り。さて最後のトンネルを入れた後•••と思った瞬間、青空が見えた。直ぐに立ち上がったが、既にポジションが違う急遽、全く予定してなかった外回し、外回しでゴールへ    クリーンラン3位検分であれだけ考えてた事が全く無駄になった。人生も、そんなものかもしれない。スムーズに流れに沿って生きていこうとして、アクシデントでイバラの道を歩む？しかし結果オーライみたいな？予定通りにはいかない事は多々ある。

The last one is AG2. This will be my last run with Lady this time. I wanted to finish with a clean run. 100 clean runs in 100 attempts is the kind of Agility I'm aiming at. The result would be appeared later.
最後は、アジリティ２度コレがレディと最後の走りとなる。やはり、最後はクリーランで終わらせたかった。自分の目指すアジリティは、100回走って100回クリーランをする事だ。席次は後からついてくるものだと。

The last run was a clean run without any accident. Moreover, I had the 1st place as a bonus.

最終ランは、無事にクリーラン出来た。更に一席というおまけまでついてた。

Lady had very good experiences this time. We will give a challenge in the Class 3 from the autumn season.
今回はレディにとって本当に良い経験が出来た。秋のシーズンからは3度でチャレンジ

I am starting with judging the Open JP. There are about 300 dogs to judge, divided into groups for course walking and runs. Each group runs after their course walking. As I can take a break while a group is walking the course, I don't get so tired. Where can I run Lady? I go to check the state of progress.

今日は朝から、まずオープンジャンピングクラスの審査から始まる。300走近くジャッジするのだが、グループ分けをして検分、出走。検分、出走という具合に進行していき。ジャッジも、その間に休憩が入るのでさほど疲れない。

レディと走れるのは、AG 2 クラス審査が終わったら進行状況を確認に

Relieved as in the ring I want to run, the previous class group is still running. I really want to make a clean run in AG and move up to Class 3.

予定されているリンクでは、まだ違うクラスのグループが走っていたので一安心。どうしても、アジリティをクリーンランして3度へ昇格したい。

Finished the course walking, and it's finally my turn.

検分も終わり、いよいよ出番が

There is one thing I always say to myself before starting.

いつも、スタート前に必ず自分に言い聞かせる事がある。

"Keep talking to the dog!"

「声を出して行こう！」

It's often the case I forget to talk to the dog when I make mistakes. Most of them, I could have avoided if I kept talking to the dog.

失敗した時の殆どが声が出てなくて起こったものだ。声さえ出てれば回避できたことは沢山あったはずだ。

I recite in my mind  another thing I learnt in this European tour.

そして、今回のヨーロッパ遠征で学んだもう一つの事も心に念じる。

"Start after I hear the whistle."

「笛の音を聞いてから走ること‼︎」

The result was a clean run in peace. I got a bonus of the 6th place as well.

結果は、無事にクリーンラン‼︎さらに、6席というオマケ付きだった。

Tour to Europe 11

Today, I will judge for Jutlandia Cup for the first time.

I've prepared a course for JP3.

I'm judging Open AG small and medium, and JP3 large classes.

The Open AG course was prepared by Sascha.

Once it's done, I have to move to the next ring and build the course.

It was very helpful "the course building team" had built the course almost as the course map already.

The course was designed so that everybody could run right and left, joyfully (?).

今日はJutlandia Cup での最初のジャッジとなる。

用意してきたコースはJP 3 度

ジャッジするのは、オープンアジリティクラスのスモール、ミディアムとJP 3のラージクラス。

オープンアジリティクラスのコースはサーシャが用意したものだ

それが終わると、すぐ次のリンクへ行ってコースビルディング。

“コースビルディングチーム”が、ほぼコースマップ通りに建ててくれるから非常に助かった。

コースは、リンク内を縦横無尽に楽しく？走り廻るように設計

Upon finishing judging, I looked for a class I could run Lady. AG2 and JP2 were already finished, and there was only Open AG judged by Sascha going.

I wasn't so sure about dealing the entrance and the exit of the weaving poles, but decided to try daringly.

As a result, Lady did better than I'd expected. I realize that this kind of experiences would lead to the confidence of Lady and myself.

審査が終わりレディが走れるクラスを探したが、既にAG 2,JP 2は終了していて、残るはサーシャが審査するオープンアジリティだけだった。

スラロームのエントリーと、出口の処理が少し不安があったが思い切ってやってみる事に

結果は思っていた以上にレディはやってくれた。こういう経験が自分やレディにとって自信につながっていくのだと実感する。

Unexpectedly, we got the 17th place, and again we didn't have the Japanese flag or anything else.

予想外に17位に入賞していて、今日もまた日の丸も何も用意してなかった。

When you win the certain place, you can choose a prize in order from the 1st place, but I have to think about the weight of my suitcase for the return flight.

入賞すると上位の人から順に好きな賞品を選ぶのだが、どうしても帰りの飛行機に乗るトランク重量を考えてしまう。

First, a very thick hard covered Labrador book came into my sight.

I really have to avoid this one. So I chose a meat shaped dog toy. This is a light goody doesn't even take much space.

When I was about to leave, one of the organizing staff handed me, by courtesy, saying "please take this one too," the Labrador book.

I really can't refuse now, so accept it thankfully.

一番に目に入ったのが分厚いハードカバーのラブラドールの本

コレだけは避けたいと、肉型のドッグトイ。軽いしスペースもとらない優れものだ

帰りかけてると、主催者のスタッフが好意で「コレも是非どうぞ」とラブラドールの本を手渡された。

こうなると、持って帰るしかないなと有り難く頂く。

Sascha came up to me sayting "congratulations."

He has a very thick hard covered Shepherd book in his hand.

"Do you want this book?"

"No, thank you."

"Do you want this Labrador book?"

"No, thank you."

サーシャが、「おめでとう」と近寄ってきた

ふと見ると、その手にはハードカバーの分厚いシェパードの本を持っている

「この本いる？」

「のーさんきゅー」

「ラブの本いる？」

「no", thank you」

Tomorrow is an off day. I will do my laundry and relax at the hotel

明日は休養日でホテルで洗濯しながらゆっくり過ごすことに
