Happy New Year 2009!!
As you know, I'm in Brisbane and not so far from Gold Coast in Australia. 
How did you spend a new year?
If I was in Japan, I would go to the shrine with someone to pray my happiness for this year as usual, though, it’s in Australia here!
It isn't cold, very hot! Can you imagine? 
Most of people in Australia go to the city to welcome a new year with fireworks.
However, I went for a camp with my room mates and their Australian friends.
It was my first experience to spend a new year in hot season in my 28 years life!
So I felt that it was like summer holiday in Japan.
I’ve been staying in tropical countries from last May more than for 8 months. That's why I really need a lot of cold wind from Japan!!
Someone send it to me as soon as possible, please!! 
Anyway, I wish it’ll be nice year with you in this year, 2009.

ご存知の通り、ゴールドコーストからも遠くない、ブリスベン、オーストラリアにいます。
みなさんはどのように新年を過ごしましたか？
日本にいたならば、いつもと同様に誰かと神社へ行って、今年のために幸福を祈ったことでしょう。しかーし、ここ、オーストラリア！
寒くないのです、本当に暑いのです！考えられますか？
多くのオージーはシティーに行って、花火と共に新年を迎えます。
ですが、ルームメイトと彼らのオージー友達と一緒に、キャンプに行ってきましたｗ！
暑い季節で新年を過ごすのは、28年間で初めての経験！
な・の・で・・・日本の夏休みのような感じがしました！
去年の5月から8ヶ月以上も熱帯の国々で過ごしています。だから、日本からの冷たい風が本当に必要です！
誰か、早く送ってくださーいｗ！
とくかく、、、今年2009年もみなさんと良い年になりますように・・・。

There were a lot of Japanese cars(4WD) with their own the boat aroud the lake.
*4WDは四輪駆動の略です。英語での意味、知ってましたか？

ブリスベンでの滞在！(Staying in Brisbane)
As I found the room to share, I move to Brisbane from Sydney by the airplane. The required time is about for an hour and a half.
It was crowded with local costumers in the airport because of “summer holiday”
in Australia.
The cost to share the room is only 125 Australian dollars a week excluding bills, though, it’s extremely cheap compare to Japan!
Brisbane is located north Sydney and close to Gold Coast.

In spite of the hot weather, there was still a beautiful Christmas tree on the street!
As I got an invitation to go for a camp from my room mates, I’ll join with them and spend the last night in this year and welcome a new year!!

シェアできるが部屋が見つかったので、シドニーからブリスベンへ移動。所要時間は約1時間半。
オーストラリアは「夏休み」なので、空港には現地の旅行客で込み合っていました。
シェアルームは、な、なんと、一週間たったの・・・

電気代等除いてあります。けれども、日本と比べてもとても安い！
ブリスベンは、シドニーの北に位置し、ゴールドコーストへも近い。

ゴールドコーストへ行ってきました～！
暑い天気にもかかわらず、打つくしクリスマスツリーがまだストリートにありました。
ルームメイトから、キャンプへ行く招待を受けたので、彼らとともに、今年最後の日を過ごし、新しい年を迎える予定です！

フィジーからシドニーへ(Fiji To Sydney)
As the first plan to go for a trip to Tuvalu has changed, I came to Sydney in Australia.
The reason why I have to go abroad from Fiji is that I need to change a student Visa to a tourist Visa.
My first impression in Sydney is that there are a lot of Asian especially Korean and Chinese!! Too many!
So I changed my mind immediately to move to other place which is comfortable to stay, cheap and a few Asian.
最初のプランであったツバルへの旅行が変更になったので、オーストラリアのシドニーへ来ました！
フィジーから他の国へ行かないといけなかった理由は、学生ビザから観光ビザへの変更が必要だったからです。
シドニーでの最初の印象は、アジア人がメチャ多い！特に韓国人と中国人！多すぎる！
なので、、、すぐに考えを変え、快適で安い、そしてアジア人の少ない他の場所へ移動することにしました。
