肺炎 / Pneumonia

デュピクセントを始めるぞと思って、予約した日(昨日)に病院に行って、投与前の診察を受けたら、ちょっと気になることがあり、レントゲンとCTをとりました。

そしたら肺炎があるということになり、おそらく好酸菌だろうが、肺炎だとデュピクセントは使えないと言われ、大学病院への紹介状が書かれました。

この大学病院は副鼻腔炎の治療でもずっと通っており、毎年人間ドックもここです。

ということで早速本日行きました。

いつも行くのは耳鼻科だけど今日は呼吸器科。

呼吸器科も初めてではないのですが、この病気では初診。

これまでの経緯を伝え、またしても検査。



I went to the hospital again to start Dupixent the day before yesterday and was taken by x-ray and CT because noise of my chest was detected.

Then pneumonia was diagnosed which was probably due to eosinophil, Dupixent was not capable for pneumonia, and starting it was cancelled.

My doctor made a referral letter to university hospital where I often go for enosinoplyiic sinus and for yearly health check.

I went there yesterday.

I often go to otolaryngology but yesterday pulmonology..

I told a doctor my history and was checked.

Then I was told that I might have eosinophilic pneumonia as I had been told the day before.

However, if I am treatment there, I need to be ensured that I definitely have eosinophilic pneumonia by receiving an additional check which would be tough for patients.

I decided not to be checked because the treatments wouldn't change whether I would or not and I have already been certified as eosinophilic sinus.

The doctor agreed with my decision, promised to write a letter back to my doctor, and I came home.

I am not satisfied with the way that the doctors are not content to let me wonder around.

I would like to start Dupixent as soon as possibleble because the factor is obvious.

I will talk with my doctor some day this week.



デュビクセント/ Dupixent

好酸球性副鼻腔炎であることは前からですが、少しずつ悪くなったり治療で少し良くなったり、でもまた悪くなったりを繰り返し、今週めちゃ最悪です。

喘息もひどく、ちょっと周りがびっくりするレベル。

夜発作が出ることもありました。

今日、かかりつけの呼吸器科に行ったところ、相当ひどいのでついにデュビクセントの投与を始めましょうということになりました。

難病指定が初めて効くことに。

すぐにはできないので、まずは対処療法の薬をもらってきました。

これで少しましな暮らしが送れそう。

今回はほんとひどかったな。

まだ終わってないけど。



I have eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis as I mentioned some times. 

My condition has been changing and this week it was the worst.

Asthma is also bad and those who are around me seem surprised.

I had an asthma attack one night.

Today I went to see doctor and he told me that let’s start having Dupixent.

Certification to have an incurable disease will finally be utilized.

It spend several days to start and I got medicine to cure symptoms.

I believe my quality of life will get better.



大学・研究 / university and research

先週末は外部の仕事で沖縄に行きました。

そして昨日は大学の恩師の最終講義を聞きに行きました。

どちらにも共通するのが大学・研究。

研究の世界は難易度が高く、次の研究テーマを考えて仲間を集めたり、論文を書いて発表したり。

どう社会に役立てるか考えたり、お金をどう得るかを考え、実行したり。

まぁここまでは仕事だから当たり前だと思うんだけど、研究という先の見えにくい類のもので、実績を出し、極めてノーベル賞にしてくか、もしくは多分野で実績をあげまくるか、いずれにしても相当タフだろうと思うのです。

でもそれを意気揚々とやり遂げていく人たちをたくさん見ることができ、しかも私自身は全く違うけどそんな環境に少しでも一緒にいた学生時代があったことを大切にしようと思ったのでした。


I went to Okinawa for an external mission last weekend.

I went to receive the final lecture of my professor yesterday.

The common was university and research.

I think research is high level of difficulty and where all the people should work many tasks to consider next theme, gather colleagues, write and present papers, think about how to apply them to the society, and think about how to get money and do it.

They are all not surprising as work but it is tough to make achievement visual in research which is difficult to ensure results and deepen them to the level of Nobel prize or make many achievements in many areas.

I was lucky to see many people who have done them and I decided myself proud of having been in such an environment at university even though I never have done.

ロンドン高級不動産 / Buying London



偶然ですか、こちらも今日見終わりました。

こっちのがSelling the Cityより先に見始めたのに、終わるのは同日でした。

途中、出張でロンドンに行ったので街の雰囲気がわかるようになり、楽しくなりました。

仕事に集中したいけれど、揉め事が多くて転職を考えるシーンには共感しました。

私もこういうことがよくあるので。

次のシーズンにも期待したいです。

こちらはイギリス英語の習得にもいいですね。


I finished watching “Buying London” on the same day when I finished “Selling the City” by accident.

I started watching it before the Selling the City”, though.

I was getting to enjoy it after I went to London for the business trip during watching it.

I sympathized a scene in which a talented woman is about to think about moving to the other company because she was annoyed by dispute with her colleagues even though she wants to focus on the job.

I have experienced such kind of feelings some times.

I look forward to the next season.

It is good for me to learn British English as well.


修論と誕生日 / Master’s thesis and birthday

次男の修論の提出と発表が終わったそうで、修士をとれることになりそうです。

2年間よくがんばりました。

4月からの就職に向けて好きなことをする時間になるんでしょうね。


今日は長男次男の誕生日祝いに夕食をたべにいきました。

次男が明日から卒業旅行に行くそうで、その前に早めに。

24歳になります。

彼らが生まれてからそんなに経つんですね。

おめでとう！



My second son finished submitting and presenting his master’s thesis and is on the pathway to acquiring a master’s degree.

I recognized his work for the past two years.

He will spend time to enjoy what he wants to do until he joins the company.


We went out to have dinner to celebrate my first and second sons’ birthday tonight.

It is a little bit earlier because my second son will leave for Thailand tomorrow.

They will turn to be 24 years old.

I can't believe it has been such many years since they were born.

Happy birthday.

ゴルフラウンド / Golf round

昨日はすばらしいコースでラウンドしました。

以前、研修で一緒だった人たちと。

彼らは私がその研修をきっかけにゴルフを始めたのも知っているのです。

最近の練習で少しよくなり、スコアは自分史上ではいい方でした。

終わった後の残念度は自分の中では下がってきたこと、周りの人のプレイもよく見る余裕ができたこと、は大きな成長の証だと思います。

グリーン周りでバンカーからバンカーに往復ビンタしちゃうことは相変わらずあり、そうすると一気に叩いちゃいます。

ドライバーはだいぶましになったかな。もう少しだな。

やはり練習するしかないですね。

楽しいゴルフに感謝です。



I went to play golf at a great golf course with my friends with whom I learned in the external learning course before.

They know that I started golf at the trigger of the learning course.

My golf was getting better by practicing recently and my score was good in my history.

Decreains regret after playing and having room to watch the others’ playing were evidence of my growth.

Shots in case of shooting from banker to banker around the green worse my score.

Driver shot improved but needs more.

I will have to practice and practice.

I appreciate a joyful golf round.




セリング・ザ・シティ / Selling the City



見終わりました。高級不動産系は欠かせないので。笑

NYは馴染みのある街なのもあり、私はこれは好きですね。

NYの不動産エージェントとして成功している女性がチームを持ち、さらなる成功を目指す。

女性ばかりのチームだからかそれとは関係なくか、問題はしょっちゅう起こる。チーム外の人も含めて。

でもやはり仕事は好きで、いい物件を発掘し、いい顧客に売るという本来のことに集中しようとする。私が不動産系Netflixを見る理由はここにありますね。

最後の終わり方が驚きだったけど。今後シーズン2が出てくるのかな。

NYの早口英語なのも、英語の習得にはありがたいです。



I watched “Selling the City” on Netflix. I love high-end real estate dramas.

I like it because NY is familiar to me.

A woman who succeeded in the real estate world in NY has her team and aims at more success.

They always have trouble involving external stakeholders because they are all women or not.

However, they like their job and try to focus on identifying good listings and selling them to good customers.

It is the reason why I watch real estate dramas.

I was surprised with the end of the drama and look forward to the next season.

I appreciate fast English which is typical for New Yorkers in terms of learning English.



三男NZへ / My youngest son going to NZ

3か月近く夏休みで帰国していた三男がいよいよニュージーランドに戻りました。

成田空港で見送りました。

正直言うととてもさびしいですが、親元を離れて学び、もうそろそろ就活も始める(早い！)息子のこの先が楽しみです。データサイエンティストになってね。

日本にいる間は、長男と一緒によくゴルフ練習に行きました。

三男の車の運転の練習も兼ねて。だいぶ運転も安定してきました。

海外に出てみて、改めて三男もやりたいこと、やりたくないことが見えたよう。

以前の彼女と別れてしまってからは、彼女を作る気は全くないようで、それはそれで残念だけど。

今度帰ってくるのは11月かな。



My youngest son who has stayed at home for about three months finally left Japan for NZ.

My husband and I saw him off at Narita International Airport.

To be honest, I miss him but I also look forward  to his future which will be made his learning abroad and applying for internship. I expect him to be a data scientist.

While he was here, we often went to the golf range with my first son.

That was for his practicing driving. His driving skills tuned out to be stable.

He seems to recognize what he wants to do by being abroad.

I am sorry that he doesn't look interested in making his girlfriend after he was apart from his ex-girlfriend.

He will come back to Japan in November.


加賀温泉とゴルフ練習 / Kaga spring and golf practice

この間の日曜日は日帰りで加賀温泉に。

すっかり日帰り旅行にはまってます。

日帰り旅館プランでお昼ご飯と温泉を満喫。

その後、お寺の観光と、お寿司のテイクアウト。

空港のラウンジでそのお寿司を食べるという充実ぶり。

日帰り旅行にはこれからも頻繁に行きそうです。


その前の土曜日はゴルフのレッスンに行きました。

最近は平日も時間が合えば、長男と三男と一緒に打ちっぱなしに行って研究をし、少しだけど成長スピードが上がりました。

そんな最中、土曜日のレッスンでも気づきがありました。

ゴルフはとにかくどれだけ体の軸を動かさずにやるかなんですが、そのためには体幹が強くないとと思ってたんだけど、コーチは体幹が強くないなら強くないなりに、遠心力をもっと活用して体を動かさずにできるのだと教えてくれました。

これは実はずっと前から教えてくれてたんですが、私がやっとその通りにできるようになったようです。

まだまだ長い道のりですが、少しずつは進歩してるので、いつかはもっとうまくなるんじゃないかと思います。

ところで、今年は順調にラウンドの予定が入っていて、6月までは毎月です。

しかもかなり仕事で真剣に対応しないといけないのも２つ入っており、これが昨年までとの違い。

なんとかもう少しうまくならないとな…。



I went on a day trip to Kaga last Sunday.

I love a day trip.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch and the spring in a daytime plan at a Japanese traditional hotel.

After that, we went to a temple and got sushi to go.

We ate it at the airport lounge as dinner.

We are going to go on a day trip many times.


I went to the golf school last Saturday.

The speed to improve my skills is getting faster than before because I sometimes go to the golf driving range with my first and youngest sons even on weekdays.

I had findings in the lesson that I can play well based on my weak body core by balancing between my body core and my swing to use centrifugal force even though generally speaking, a strong body core helps make a good golf player.

I finally could accept his teaching which he had taught me for two years after practicing.

I hope I will be a good player someday because I have definitely grown.

By the way, I have plans to go golf courses mo monthly till June.

Two of them are important rounds for my job and I have to be a better player.

I wish I would.






仕事の読書 / Reading for job

しばらく仕事のための読書ができてなかったのですが、今週末は何冊か本を読みました。

昨年は休みの日の有効活用があまりできなかった気持ちがありますが、今年に入ってからは充実した休日が送れています。

すでに一度で読んでるものも入ってます。

官僚組織の是非は本によって違いましたが、おそらく同じことを言っていそう、官僚組織が必要な部分と悪となる部分があり、万能はないのです。

もともと本を何冊か読み始めたのは、自分の組織で起こっている出来事の大半を知らないであろう現状がいいのかどうかを確認したくて。間違いなく、全てに首を突っ込むのは間違ってるけど、全く情報が入らないことさえあるのをどう考えるか。これも基本は間違ってないが、状況によるという結論。

AIにも相談しましたが、意思決定プロセスの見える化と権限委譲の見える化、継続的な改善を実施することで、健全におまかせできる状態を作っていこうと思います。


I read three books relating to my job this weekend. Their links were mentioned above.

I felt that I didn't utilize holidays last year but I have spent fruitful holidays since the beginning of this year.

One of the three books is what I had already read before.

Regarding evaluation for bureaucracy organizations, one book shows that it is required but another shows that it is bad. However, I understood their intentions are not far because sometimes required but sometimes bad.

I started reading because I wanted to know if it is good or not that I have some things happening in my organization but which I don’t know at all. No doubtly jumping into all the things is wrong but that I don’t know some things at all are good or bad. I learned that my situation is basically correct but case by case.

I also discussed it with AI and concluded my actions to visualize the process of decision-making as well as delegation to others and to continue iterating the organization to ensure a healthy organization where I delegate.
