進路のアドバイス / advice for the future



約3年前の自分で書いたブログを発見。
まだ長男が進路について明確な方向性がでていなかった時期。
接客が嫌だと言うから、それなら理系に行けとアドバイス。
理系に行くなら数学はちゃんとやらないともアドバイス。
長男は今理系に進むべく頑張っている。
3年前のアドバイスに従ったってことか。
ついでに言うと、次男は6年ぐらい前の私のアドバイスが元となり、今の学部選択へ。
うまく進めるといいけどね。


I read my entry written about 3 years ago.
I advised my first son to select science or technology when he goes to the university because he didn’t like customer-facing.
He is going to the technology department of the university now.
He have followed my advice for three years.
In addition my second son have followed my advice 6 years ago.
I wish they would go to their ways.

お弁当作り / make a bento

三男の家庭科の宿題で、お弁当作りがあり、今日作りました。
ほうれん草のおひたし、牛肉のしゃぶしゃぶ、りんごという簡単メニュー。
美味しそうにできました。
これから本人がレポート作成。
毎日宿題やってる気がする。

One of my youngest son’s homework is making a bento and he did it today.
He selected the menus which were boiled spinach with soy source,  beef shabu-shabu, and some pieces of an apple and they were easy to cook.
What he made looked delicious.
He is writing a report.
I am afraid that I help him with homework every day.



”年末の読書 / Reading at the end of the year”



ようやく読み終わりました。
もうすこしスピーディな書きっぷりだとありがたい。
描写が丁寧なのかもだけど、ちょっとしつこい。
それを差し引くと、検屍官シリーズファンには楽しい内容でした。


I finished reading finally.
I would appreciate it if the author described without some duplications.
I think that it was written in detail but it was too much.
It was interesting for fans of the coroner’s series if I try not to read redundancy.

ボランティア / volunteer

三男の学校のカリキュラムには、ボランティアが定常的に入っております。
ユニクロに古着を持っていくのもボランティアの一つだという先生の言葉があったので、今日は古着を持ってユニクロへ。
リサイクルボックスに入れるところを写真たおさめ、レポートにします。
ついでにユニクロでいくつか息子たちのものを買いました。

長男は今日は友達と勉強するということで朝からお出かけ。

次男は家で受験勉強。

なんとなく正月二日から勉学に励む兄弟みたいな図になってます。
実態とはちょっと違うけど。


My youngest son’s curriculum at school always has a volunteer work.
His teacher said that bringing old clothes to UNIQLO for recycling was one of the volunteers and we brought our old clothes to UNIQLO.
I took a photo in which my son put them into the recycle box.
He is writing a report with it.
We bought some clothes for my sons.

My first son has been out since in the morning to study with his friend.

My second son is studying at home as usual.

Many people think that my sons study hard even in the second day of the new year.
It is different from the reality.


初詣 / New year visit to the shrine

初詣に行きました。
と言っても近所の神社で簡単にすませました。
今年は何と言っても、次男の大学受験ですが、私の経験から、当たり前ですが受験は神頼みは効かないので、健康にちゃんと試験を受けられるように、実力を発揮できるようにとお願いしてみました。
実力をつけるのは次男の役目ですから。
いつもグズグズして遅くなっちゃうんだけど、今年は早く暖かいうちに行けたので、いい年になりそうです。

We went to a nearby shrine to pray our wishes.
My most important wish is my second son’s exam to get into the university this year.
From my experience, it is sure that exams for entering schools don’t accept our wishes and I prayed that my son will be able to take exams with health and levere his abilities at maximum.
Acquiring his abilities enough to pass the exams are my son’s business.
Although my family are too lazy to go to the shrine in the daytime, this year we can go there in the morning so that I believe we will make a good year.

あけましておめでとうございます / happy new year

あけましておめでとうございます。
本年もよろしくお願いします。

今年の抱負です。
・長男の大学進学、次男の大学受験(成功すれば進学)という重大な時期。2人の大人への一歩をサポートする。
・三男の学力低空飛行からの脱却をサポートする。
・仕事での新たなロールを順調に引継ぎ、チーム力を強化する、後半には結果も出す。
・女性カウンシルの今期を無事に終わらせ、来期につなげる、活動を定着化させる。
・昨年、一昨年に築いた外部の方との交流を深め、拡大する。会社外にも貢献する活動を行う。
・フランス語を学ぶ
・年明けにはプランしていないことを成し遂げる。

よろしくお願いします。


Happy new year.

The followings are my new-year resolutions.
- support my twin sons, one of them is preparing for the university and another is studying for getting into the university. 
- support my youngest son who is struggling with his bad results at school.
- take over my new role, strengthen the team, and achieve the results in the latter of this year.
- complete this term of the women’s council, stabilize the activities, and continue to the next term.
- deepen and expand my relationships with the externals which I built last year and before and continue to internally and externally.
- learn French.
- achieve something which I don’t plan now.

大阪から / from Osaka

昨日、大阪に行っていた夫、長男、三男が帰りました。
急に騒がしくなる。
大阪ではいろいろ楽しめたようです。
義父のお墓まいりや、義母孝行と言う名のお世話になることや。
来年には義兄家族も帰国するようで、次の年末年始はまた違った感じになるかもですね。
次男がちゃんと大学に合格するのが前提だけど。
大晦日はやることが終わらないけど、最低限のことすら残ってるからなんとかこなさなきゃ。

Yesterday my husband and my first and third sons who had been to Osaka came back.
It became noisy.
They enjoyed some things in Osaka.
They went to my father-in-law’s grave to say hello to him and were taken care of by my mother-in-law as the objective of filial piety.
Next year the family of my brother-in-law will come back to Japan and I would say that at the end of next year we will spend another type of vacation.
My second son’s success to enter the university will be the most important assumption of our vacation.
I have many tasks to do by the end of this year but I cannot.
I will focus on the minimum things to do.
Because it is the final day of this year today.

変わらない三男 / unchanged son

三男が小学生のときにもらった先生からの手紙が見つかった。


三男さん
お誕生日おめでとうございます。最近は授業中のノート、宿題提出と頑張れるようになってきましたね。将来、得意の絵でマンガ家になるにしても、笑いのセンスを生かして芸人になるにしても、大人の世界では締切はつきものです。引き続きがんばりましょう。勝手にマンガ家、芸人と書きましたが、何になるにしても君の将来は楽しみです。

なんと、変わってない。
今でも締切にちゃんとしたものが出せなくて苦労してますよ。
ちゃんとすればそれだけですごく評価されるのに。
でも私も三男の将来を楽しみにしてます。
規格外には規格外のよさがあるはず。あるはず。


I found a letter written to my youngest son by his teacher when he was an elementary school student.


Dear the youngest,
Happy birthday. Today you can try to submit your notebooks or your homework. If you became a comic writer utilizing your sense of drawing or an entertainer utilizing your sense of humor in the future, you would have to keep deadlines as an adult. You should keep trying. I write you will be a comic writer or an entertainer from only my imagination but I look forward to your future even though you select any occupations.
From your teacher


My son hasn’t changed.
He is struggling with his habit not to submit right things keeping the deadlines.
I think if he did so he would be evaluated easily.
But I also look forward to his future.
People outside the standard are good as they are. I believe...,

フランス語 / French

今年の活動からフランス語にも興味が芽生え、始めてみることに。
実は来年始めようと思ったけどちょっとフライング。
英語でフランス語をアプリを使って学び始めました。
続けられるかな。

I have became interested in French from my activity this year and I started learning it today.
In fact I am planning to start it next year but I started at the end of this year.
I began to learn French using English on an application of iPhone.
I am afraid if I will keep it.
