☆お着物☆~KIMONO~

きょうはお着物の展示会に行ってきました


I went to an exhibition and sale to see kimonos today.



わたし、来年１月に成人式があるので、帯留めやショールなどの小物を見るためでした


I'll have a coming of age ceremony in January next year, so it was to see accessories for kimono.


お母さんが着た振袖を着る予定だったので、本当は小物だけをそろえるつもりだったのですが.........

I was planning to wear the furisode (kimono with long sleeves) so i only intended to buy accessories...

BUT


きれいな柄の反物を見つけてしまったので、

しかもお母さんもおばさんも、みんな一致で気に入ってしまったので、

振袖にお仕立てしてもらうことにしました


We found really pretty kimono material,

and I, my mum, and my aunty, all of us liked it.

so we decided to order it to be made as furisode!!


柄は今はやりのハデハデなものではなくて、落ち着いた小紋の柄です

The pattern is not like trendy bold pattern with bold colours.

It's more chic and has traditional komon pattern all over it.


わたしにとってだれかと同じ着物になってしまうのは一番避けたいことなので、

きっとだれも選ばない、そんな柄がいちばんだとおもいますね

人と違ったことをするのがすきなんです


The very thing I want to away from is wearing the same kimono as somebody.

So I think it was a good idea to choose a kimono nobody would select.

I like doing different things to anybody else.


そんな理由でお母さんが成人式に着た振袖を着ようと思ってたんです

That's why I was thinking of wearing my mum's furisode.

だれともかぶらないでしょ(笑）

Nobody would wear the same thing, would they?? lol


やっぱりお母さんの着物も引き継いで着たい気持ちもあるので、

前撮りのときに新しいのとは別にそれも着る予定です

I also want to wear the furisode my mum wore to inherit,

so I'm gonna wear 2 of them when I have a photo shoot before the ceremony.




振袖の他にも襟や帯のアクセントになる小物や、草履、バッグ、ショール、髪飾りをそろえてきました


I bought other things like accessories for eri and obi, zouri shoes, bag, shawl and hair accessories.


振袖がちょっと落ちつている分、小物はピンク色やレース、リボン、キラキラのストーンなどが着いているものを選んで、かわいくコーディネートしてみました

Despite the simple furisode, I chose to have a lot of pink and decorations like laces, ribbons, and rhinestones.

When they all come together, it looks so cute!!


今からとってもたのしみです

I'm already so excited!!

ずっと会ってない中学時代の友だちにも会えるし

I would be able to see friends from junior high that I haven't seen for ages.


振袖のお仕立て上がりを待つのみです

I just have to wait for the furisode to be completed!!

☆自転車☆~Bicycle~

きょう、すっごく久しぶりに自転車乗りました



I rode on the bicycle after quite a while today.



ちょっと郵便局まですいーっと行ってきました


I went on a little journey to the post office. lol




最後に乗ったのはいつだったかなと思い出せないくらいだから相当久しぶりなんだと思います


I can't even remember when it was that I rode on it. So I'm pretty sure it's been a while.




久しぶりに自転車乗ってみて、なんだかすごく気持ちがよかったです



I felt so good when I was pedaling the bike.



風は冷たかったけれど、それもそれで清々しかったです


The wind was cold, but I felt it rather refreshing.



たまには、歩きよりも、車よりも、自転車がいいかも知れないですね


It might be better to use bicycle than walking or driving sometimes. :D

☆日本に帰ってきました☆~I'm in JAPAN~

みなさんお久しぶりです



Long time no see, everybody.




５日前、無事に日本に到着しましたよ


I safely arrived in Japan 5 days ago.


実家のネット回線がおかしくて、ネットを使えないでいましたが、わたしはとっても元気です


I had had no access to the internet for a while because there was something wrong with the network of my home. But I'm very fine.



知らない間にこのブログ作成のフォーマットも変わってますね.....（笑）


The format of the blog update has changed while I was away...lol



やっぱり日本は寒いですね



例年よりは暖かい感じはしますが



Well, Japan is so cold as I expected!!!



Though I feel it's warm compared to previous years.




ただ今ちょっとだらけた生活してますが、


おいおいやるべきことやって行こうと思いますね



I'm being lazy right now, but I'm thinking of starting to do things which have to be done.



やりたいこともたくさんあるしで。


There are things I wanna do as well.



さあ。まずはショッピングかな（笑）


Well. Start from shopping!!! lol


それでテンション高めないと


It must help me to have the excitement. lol




風邪ひかないように気をつけなくちゃ




Must be careful not to catch a cold!!
