Pratham Shah rescued Choco, the dog in the photo, on May 13th in Mumbai, India. He decided to go the beach with his buddies; as they entered the beach, he saw a puppy sleeping in a strange position. He went to wake up the dog, who started ‘crawling’ towards him it was then when Pratham realized that the dog’s hind legs were paralyzed. The puppy was more ‘of a sack of bones’ as Pratham describes him. He was also badly wounded. He took the dog at his place and the next day started looking for NGOs that would shelter and look after the dog. Pratham had previously adopted a cat and a dog, thus he was unable to keep this dog to himself. He eventually brought the dog to ‘Animals Matter To Me (Mumbai)’
