Walter Martin & Paloma Munoz/Night Falls 小さい模型を撮影してる写真群。ただ、少し加工してたりで、不思議な雰囲気の写真達。 作品としてのスノーボールも展示されてました。 スペースもよくて、所属作家もあんまり知らないけど、面白そう。
MARIANNE VITALE/WHAT I NEED TO DO IS LIGHTEN THE FUCK UP ABOUT A LOT OF SHIT 箱がでかい。し、作品もでかい。３点くらいしかないし、でも見応え半端ない。 この作品でこのタイトルかよって感じw 所属作家も面白くて、次も気になります。

ROBERT GROSVENNOR ここもZACH FEUERばりの箱のでかさ。作品も分けわかんないけど、迫力あって面白かったかも。 やっぱでかいとこは箱の使い方も思い切りがいい。 作家も数で勝負じゃなくて、見ろ！って感じ。 所属作家 Sol LeWitt、Sophie Calle, Christian Marclayなどなど、大御所ぞろい。

前日分のブログを書き終わり、三人で一息つきに一瞬だけ外に出たら、、、 やっちゃいました。オートロック、時間にして朝９時前、持ち物はタバコと携帯のみ。 さあ、どうしよう。。。トイレもいきたい。。。絶体絶命。。。 トイレ問題はぎりぎりまで我慢して、隣の肉屋でかり、事務所が１０時からしかあかないので、１０時に海野さんの携帯から電話して、なんとか１０：３０頃には戻れました。。。 これが深夜だったら恐ろしい。。。これからは十分気をつけていくようにします。 when we go out to smoke outside... omg... we forgot key... 9am,we have only cigarette and mobile phone... so what can i do? wanted to go toilet... terrible pinch... office will open 10am, so we call them 10am by Unno-san's mobile, we could back 10:30 luckily... the staff were near here by chance... i thought if it is midnight..... we should be more carefully...
で、無事部屋に戻って一息ついた頃に、秋好さんから連絡いただき、現地用の携帯を買うのを手伝ってもらいました。 本体９ドル、月額６０$でかけ放題（メールも、ウェブも、海外も！！） もろもろ込みで１０５ドル払ったけど、かなり安い！ 前日に秋好さんに相談したら、そんなのないよって脅されてたけど、とりあえずついて来てもらって購入しました。 after taking a rest, akiyoshi-san came our town, for help to buy my local phone. machine is 9$,and monthly is 60$, and unlimited text/call/web/also international call !!!! finally i got mobile!
その後画材屋(pearl paint)や電気屋(best buy)を教えてもらって、３人でショッピング。 こっちでいろいろ考えてるので、３人で道具そろえて戦闘準備開始です。 Pearl Paint は何でもそろう。でも価格は日本とほとんど一緒ですね。こっちで作家やろうとしたらみんな世話になるみたい。筆は日本の方が圧倒的によさそう。 Best Buyは大手電気屋。価格も一緒なかんじ。前田さんがHPのプリンター／スキャナー複合機かって69ドル。まあ、一緒かな、日本と。 she gave us many information about materials to make art works, we went "Pearl Paint" to buy Unno-san's paint and panel and so on. Brush is not so good but almost all tool's price are same as japan. its like a SEKAIDO. and Maeda-san bought printer at "Best Buy" here's also same as japanese electronic store. HP's printer/scanner is 69＄, i think maybe same.

買い物を済ませてかえると、柏木さんからメール。 食事でもと、喜んで！ down townからup town, からのdown town... 赤摩さんと、秋好さんと、柏木さんと３人とで日付変わるまで、ワインとベトナム料理のteke outを柏木さんが昔住んでいたaptでいただきました。 when we back our town, i got massage from Kashiwagi-san to have dinner! thats great! but up town→down town→up town→down town... we took Vietnam food with akiyoshi-san and akama-san at apt where kashiwagi-san lived before.
朝方のハプニングで３人ともだいぶ疲れて、さっき１０時頃おきました。。。 今日はこれからchelseaにいって、galleryを端から攻めていきます！！ 明日、写真をがっつりアップします！ we got up 10am because of wine and morning happenings... from now we will go to chelsea!!! we will check chelsea area and make archives!!!

今日はほとんどの作家さんが最終日だったのもあり、各自行動で、僕らは昼くらいからゆっくり動き始めて観光を少ししてました。 遠くはないんだけど、川を渡るのでちょっとめんどくさいQueens方面から攻めることに。 まずは偶然見つけた5points. ガイドブックに載ってました。 圧巻。ちなみにあと数年で取り壊されるらしいです。グラフィティ好きはぜひ。上の方とかどうやって描いてるのか不思議。。。 Today is last day for Almost all artist in USA, everybody moved as they like. we are also moved to sightseeing around lunch time. we went Queens area where is not so far but we have to across the river. at first, we found 5points by accident... its the highlight... amazing... by the way,this building will tear down, so if you like graffiti i recommend it. ... i wonder how they paint upper wall....

で、今日のメインの目的地、PS1へ。 残念ながら中の写真は撮れなかったけど、小学校をrenovationしたアート施設の先駆け？ "Public School Number 1"の略でPS１だそうな。 展示は、Chimpom, Darren Bader, Clifford Owens, Henry Taylor, Surai Kusolwongと若手の紹介でなかなか見応えのある展示でした。 特に悪ふざけっぽい Clifford Owensが面白かったかな。 アフリカのシャーマンの仮面をサンダーで削りまくるのとか、壁際の観客にキスするパフォーマンスのビデオとか。 and its todays main destination PS1. it doesn't allow to take photo inside, that was pretty good exhibitions. PS1 means "Public School Number 1" the shows are Chimpom, Darren Bader, Clifford Owens, Henry Taylor, Surai Kusolwong maybe they are young and emergency artists. thats powerful exhibitions. especially Clifford Owensis interested for me. its like a prank. carving african shaman mask by sander, performance video what he kiss to audience and so on.

その後は、Manhattanに戻って、THE観光。 WTC(world trade center)跡地はさすがにぐっときます。このNYの狭さであれがあったと思うと、当時どれだけパニックになったのか。。。 今は記念館みたいなのもあるみたいで、観光客がいろんなとこからきてました。 and back to Manhattan, we started sightseeing as tourist. i was filled with deep emotion in front of WTC... now there is Memorial Museum/hall, many tourist making line...

そのまま南に下って、Battery Parkへ。 小さかったけど、一応、自由の女神もみたので、観光地いっこクリアです。 and going south, Battery Park. too small but i could see Statue of Liberty.

一息ついて、また北上がてら、Wall Street, Federal Hall National Memorialをみて、偶然見つけたBrooklyn Bridgeを真ん中までいってUターン。 and during to go north, we saw Wall Street, Federal Hall National Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge.

そこらへんにぽこぽこあるパブリックアートなんかを横目に、散歩しつつ、J&Rっていう電気屋で海野さんが勉強用にDCのソフト買ったり,Century21て洋服屋などをぶらぶらして、本日の最終目的地China Townへ。 there are many public art, just walking street is really interesting. Unno-san got DS soft at J&R. english ver "layton" for study.kkk and finally we arrived china town for dinner.
明日、ほとんどの作家がかえるので、みんなで中華打ち上げ。 写真忘れたけど、Jing Fongっていう結構有名な中華なようで、超でかいホールで飯食いました。 全部うまかったな。。。これでちゃんとした飯は最後か。。。 みんな翌日が早いようなので、あまり飲み過ぎず解散。 明日からは長期チームと数名のみなので基本自由に動きます。 余った中華はお持ち帰りで大事な僕らのライフラインの命綱となりました。 Jing Fong is favorite chinese restaurant in here... hall is too huge... and thats really delicious, maybe its last normal dinner for us and leftovers are our important life line...
今日は朝早めに起きて、もろもろ身の回りを整理し、ブログを書いて、お昼前に外出。 ひとまず勉強用の教材を持ってこなかったので、英語の問題集を購入しに、Barnes&Nobleへ。 we've got up early morning and prepared for life in NY, and after wrote a blog, we've went out before lunch. i should buy some books for study english because of i didn't bring it, so i went Barnes&Noble to buy some books. Union Square の駅の目と鼻の先で、４階建ての面白い本屋でした。 １階がレジと売れ筋、２階がKids/languageなど、３階がmagazine/cafeで、４階がnovel/art/science/etc...な感じだったかな？ ２冊ほど本を買って、York Ave/E 72nd stのSotheby'sへ。 it was really interesting book store which has four floors and located close to "union square". one the first floor is a cash register and best sellers, 2nd is Kids/language, 3rd is magazine/cafe, and 4th is novel/art/etc... maybe... i bought 2books and we've went Sotheby's NY. Sotheby'sの中を見学させてもらいました。 写真は残念ながらとれなかったのですが、展示がなかったので倉庫やオフィスなどを中心に見せてもらいました。 そこら辺にうん百万円のものがごろごろあって、ここがマーケットの中心か、、、と。 と、短めのツアーを終了後は各自解散で、昼を食べ、３人で宿方面に戻りました。 after shopping we've visited Sotheby's. theres no exhibition and auction so we couldn't see works on the wall but we looked around backyard and office... there are many famous art works its like a stones on the street.... i just looked blank... and after that i took lunch with Maeda-san and Unno-san pizza and back home.

で、これからの自炊用に買い出しへ！ 場所がイーストハーレムで、すんでる人も金持ちじゃないせいか、買い物はかなり安くいけてるはず。 コメ２０kg 6.99$！！！ ９５ドルの戦利品が以下です。これで半月以上過ごすぞ！！！！ and todays main event! shopping for survive!!!! here a east-harlem, theres no rich people maybe, so we could buy everythings so cheep!!!! cheapest rice 10kg/6.99$!!! thats our life line... we've bought these ingredients 95$!!!! we will survive over two weeks!!!!!
