今日はDCからNYに朝から移動して、軽い打ち上げを行って、ようなく宿に戻り一息です。
I couldn't to write a blog because every night party and wifi connection...
today we moved DC to NY from morning, and we had a party again at NY, I've just arrived flat and finally taking a rest now.
日付を戻り、記録用に今までのことをざっと。
i will think back the few days for memorize and write down here.
2/14（滞在０日目/day 0）
成田からNYへ直行で飛び、時間通りにJFK空港へ到着。空港からairtrainでjameica station、そこからLIRR(long island rail road)でPenn stationまで、のつもりが、、、ちょっとしたハプニング発生。
べたべたに白タクに捕まりました。。。恥ずかしい。。。『そこにシャトルくるから』で待ってると、そこに現れた車に有無を言わせず荷物を取られ、ばっちりお金とられました。前にいってたフィリピンでのぼったくりタクシーの経験で強気に以降かと思ったけれど、そこはアメリカ、銃の国。そしてごっつい黒人。。。もうあきらめました。これもいい経験と思い、これからは注意して行動します。。。
I moved from Narita to NY(JFK) directly, and i arrived just on time.
as i thought to move from airport to jamaica station by air train and from there to Penn station by LIRR(Long Island Rail Road), but i got happenings...
i was caught illegal taxi at Airport... i was completely taken in... but its my mistake.
i heard i could find shuttle bus but there is passenger pick up area and i got illegal taxi...
anyway i could study how dangerous here at first moment in NY...

その後、Pennについた後はAmtrakという電車に乗るために、持っていたバーコードのコピーでチケットを発券して、いざUnion station(DC)へ。直前にならないとホームが決まらないシステムのようで重い荷物を持ちながらハラハラしてました。早くついたのでカウンターでチケットを早い便に交換してもらえないか、チャレンジしたところ、『お前のいってることがわからないから早くいけ』的にあしらわれ、、、意気消沈。
when i arrive Penn St, I've got amtrak ticket and eating there.
i could know the gate where i go just 5 min before... I've been kept tension until that around information with heavy baggage...
I've arrived 2hours before so i thought to try to change the train ticket. and i said at the counter "i would like to change~~" but they couldn't understand my english... my heart completely broke...
で、へこみながらamtrakに乗り込み、走ること約３時間半、DCに無事到着したのが夜の１０時過ぎ。
タクシーを捕まえてようやく宿に到着。ここではじめて一息つけました。。。
案の定、作家全員飲みにいってて不在。
シャワーを浴びて一息ついた頃にはみんなかえって来て、搬入状況などをききました。
寝る前にいっぱいと思ってみんなに合流したら、案の状、朝まで飲んでしまいました。。。でも大学はいったばっかりのときから気になってた土屋貴哉さん、小瀬村真美さんとがっつり話せてなかなかエキサイティングな初日でした。
anyway i got amtrak and after 3hours and half, i arrived DC!!! it was over 10pm.
i move by taxi,finally arrived Hostel...
i took shower and waiting other artists from drinking party. after they arrived i heard how proceed installing and situation.
i wanted just glass of wine for jet lug, but i drunk until 6am... but it was wonderful time for me coz i could talk and ask about art works to Takayoshi Tsuchiya-san and Mami Kosemura-san!!!
thats really exciting night for me.

2/15 (滞在１日目/Day 1)
若干の二日酔いを残し、この日は朝からギャラリーへ。
feel hung over and went gallery from morning.

ほとんどの作家が展示をばっちり終わらせていて、ほとんど仕事ありませんでした。
その後、パネルディスカッションの打ち合わせをしてその日の仕事は終了。
almost all artists already finished install, so i didn't have any work that day.

夜に在アメリカ日本大使館大使公邸に作家全員で晩餐に呼ばれ、あり得ない環境の食事に絶句、、、
秋好さんと合流して、情報交換したり、大使館の書記の二瓶さんと同席させてもらったり、なんだかよくわかんない経験をしました。
We were invited dinner at ambassador's residence... thats amazing experience... i couldn't express everything... dinner was delicious but i don't remember any taste...
2/16 (滞在２日目/Day 2)
この日は昼にギャラリーへ行き、パネルディスカッション用のプロジェクターの準備などを現地スタッフのNatalieと仕上げて、オープニングの準備。
オープニング前に数点作品も売れていき、出だしは好調。
トークも記録に集中してたのであんまり聴けなかったけど、いい感じでした。これは後で映像みて記事を書けたら書こうと思います。
around lunch time i went gallery and start to ready panel discussion and opening with Natalie.
before opening there are some visitors and they bought some art works!!!!!
regarding the panel discussion i couldn't see well because i concentrate to take photo and videos, but it was pretty good i think.

オープニングは日本じゃあり得ないくらい人が集まって、もうなんだか。。。
写真を見てもらえれば何となくわかる気がします。あとで記録用に載せます。
作家陣もうまいこと英語／日本語を話せる人を見つけて一生懸命プレゼンしてました。
最大のサプライズは前田作品が売れたこと！
オープニング後、作家を中心にtransformerスタッフとKUSHIというDCで一番おいしいらしい日本食屋に行き、お疲れパーティー。前半組はDC最後の夜なので、みんなからスタッフにプレゼントを渡して、ひとまず、DC最後の夜を楽しみました。

the most surprise for us is Maeda's works sold!!!!
after opening only artists had dinner with transformer's staff at KUSHI restaurant. we enjoyed last night of DC so much!!

2/17（滞在３日目/Day 3）
この日は朝からamtrakにのっていざNYへ！
Move to NY by Amtrak!!!!

３時間半の長旅を経てNY到着！！！！
各自チェックインが違うので、それぞれに別れて行動。僕は前田さん、海野さんと共同生活なので、近くにとまる赤摩さんとタクシーでイーストハーレムへ。
Arrived NY and got to check in at east harlem with Unno-san,Maeda-san and Akama-san by taxi.
このエリアかなりヤバいと脅されていたので、ビビりながらも無事宿へ到着し、チェックインをすませました。現地のスーパーちょっとみて軽く買い物したりした情報も後で記録します。
みんなは少しチェルシーのギャラリー周りをしていてたので、その時間に間に合うように初地下鉄で、僕らは夕方にasian societyで合流。
we heard here is sooooo dangerous,,, but its not so dangerous for us, especially i and maeda-san has been lived another country. maybe here's good for us more than downtown.
at the evening we met again at Asian Society.
小瀬村さんがインタビューを受けていたようでその後、二階のギャラリーでサラ・ジーの展覧会をキュレーターさんに説明してもらいながら鑑賞。
見終わった後はみんなで、中華街へ移動し、秋好さんのおすすめで軽い打ち上げ。
Kosemura-san has interview, so we saw the gallery with that exhibition's curator.
we enjoyed Sarah Sze, thats also pretty good. its first time to see her paper works, thats interested for me.
at the night, we took dinner at china town with Akiyoshi-san.
帰りも地下鉄で移動。
2/18 (滞在４日目/Day 4)
連日の疲れか昼近くまで寝てしまい、気づいたら海野／前田ペアはランドリーで洗濯をすませてました。
だいぶ黒人チームにおされたらしい（笑
we got up around lunch time coz of these days hard schedule... but Maeda-san and Unno-san finished laundry. They fight with local people...kkk

昼過ぎに柏木さんとチェルシーのDillon galleryで合流し、チェルシー周辺や柏木さんが昔住んでいたアパートなど見せてもらって麻生さんと合流前にまたチェルシーに戻ってザ・スーパー ギャラリー群をゆっくり見て回りました。
ここの情報もゆっくり記事にしていきます。ひとまず、ガゴーシアンはでかかった。。。
その後麻生さんと合流して、Andrew Edlinというアウトサイダーを主に扱うギャラリーにいって、オーナーの話を聞きました。原美でやったヘンリーダーガーなどの企画もしたらしい。。。
それからチェルシーマーケットを少しみて、みんなでタクシーでDillon Galleryオーナー夫妻のご自宅へ招かれディナーをごちそうに。
around lunch time, we met Kashiwagi-san at Dillon Gallery where located Chelsea and looked around these area. She introduced her previous house at Greenwich Village and visited Chelsea Market and also we looked around Super Galleries at Chelsea.
around 6pm, we gathered Andrew Edlin Gallery with Aso-san, and we listen his talk.
He organized Henry Darger's exhibition at Hara Museum.
after that we looked around Chelsea Market and Dillon Gallery's Owner's house for dinner.

ここでかなりすごいことになったのは、後でゆっくり書こうと思います。ありえない展開。。。NY滞在がとりあえずのびそうです（笑
at the dinner, i got a chance what i never thought... i will write later.... anyway i will extend to stay in NY maybe...

という感じでここ数日の出来事をざっとまとめましたが、もういつこっちにきたかわかんないくらいのスピードで日々が過ぎていっています。
もう少ししたら作家のほとんどは帰国するので、ゆっくりでき始めたら、いろいろまとめていこうかと思います。
写真も振り返りながら少しずつアップしていきます。
さて、今日はサザビーズのコンテンポラリーのコレクションを見せてもらえるので、間もなく出発します！
