世界のクリエイターたちが目指すこの賞は、スイスチューリッヒで設立され80年の歴史を持つGraphis（本社・米ニューヨーク）が写真家やデザイナーら世界のクリエーターたちが競い合うコンペとして開催しているもので、名の知れたプロのみならず若手や新進気鋭のら才能を発掘、世界に発信する舞台を提供している。
今回の「y」は、プロスケーターである羽生結弦さん（29）の美しさを撮影・デザイン・印刷の3要素で写真集に表現し、これまでのスポーツ報道写真とは一線を画した世界へと読者らを導いたことなどが評価され受賞に結びついた。
The awards which creators from all over the world aspire to, is held by Graphis (HQs in New York, USA), the company established in Aurich, Switzerland and with a history of 80 years, as a competition in which creators such as photographers or designers from around the world compete, to provide a stage for discovering and disseminating not only well-known professionals but also young and up-and-coming talents to the world.
This time, "y" was awarded in recongnition of the fact of expressing the beauty of professional skater Hanyu Yuzuru-san (29) in a photobook, with the three elements of photography, design and printing and let readers to a world that was different from conventional sports news photography.

まだ y の次作を期待しているサラでありますが 
それにしても やっぱり凄いね～！
ブルーにこだわって発売延期になったけど
こだわった苦労は報われたね！
ってかさぁ 本当に結弦君の写真集は
もう完全に「スポーツ報道写真」から芸術に進化しているものね

and yet, dreaming about it although
in the post, Nagakubo mentioned that
regarding the next "y",
nothing is decided yet.
However, as it was mentioned in the article,
Yuzu's photobooks are no more than sports news photography
but already "ART".
