夕べ話題にしたかった結弦君の言葉・・・
Yuzu mentioned about "Danny Boy"
in the interview by Hochi.
―「ダニーボーイ」は以前にも増して寄り添う感じ、優しさが伝わってくる。
この２年で表現の幅が増えたことによるのか、内側からの変化なのか。
「もともと存在している感情を、より新しい手法で伝えられるようになったのかなっていう感じはしなくはないです。
それこそ『ノッテ』（ノッテステラータ）を滑る時もそうだし、『春』（春よ、来い）を滑る時もそうなんですけど、慈愛みたいなものとか、祈りみたいなものを、どういう曲調で、どういうふうな手の振り、手の使い方、上半身の使い方であったりで表現するかっていうことが、今までどちらかというと、クラシックであったり、ポップスであったり、インストにしたとしても、『春』はもともとはポップスの曲ですし。
今回、ジャズの曲調でっていうのが、すごく自分の中にも今までなかった引き出しだったし、それをやっと、ちょっとこなせるようになったかなっていうのが、一番、印象として違うんじゃないですかね。
もちろん、年齢を重ねて、だんだん大人になってきているっていうのもあるとは思うんですけど、それを表現するための体の使い方であったりとか、思考回路みたいなものも、また、ちょっと追いついてきたのかなという感じはします」
-It seems your "Danny Boy"has a more empathetic and gentle mood than another past programmes of yours.
Is it because you developed expression abiliti or becasue you had a inner change?
"I have a feeling that now I can express emotions which were already in my mind in newer ways.
For example, previously, like when I perform "Notte" (Notte Stellata) or "Haru" (Haruyo Koi), to express compassion or prayer, before I tended to use cirtain types of music like classic or pop music, or cirtain ways to move hands and arms or upper body.
"Haru" is an instrumental music however it is a pop music.
But this time (Danny), it's a jazz, and something new for me, which I hadn't tried before, so somewhat it may give a different impression since finally I can work with such new types of music.
Of course, it's because I gain them with age, however, I feel I learnt by myself how to use my body to express such emotions and what to think about them.

本当に色んな出会いがあったし
更に色んな学びを・・・ダンスもそうだしね
結弦君頑張ってきたものね
色んな経験も「新しい手法」の糧としてきたんだろうな
あの曲との出会いを作ってくれた
お源さんの番組出演を承諾したのって
お源さん大好きだからって言うだけじゃなく
結弦君 きっとお源さんから色んな学びを得たかったのかも
そして・・・・
Now as a professional skater,
Yuzu had more opportunity to meet many people and
to have variety of experiences as well as
chances to learn, including dancing.
Yuzu has been working so hard, and
probably Yuzu makes those various experiences
to develop "new ways."
And maybe, when Yuzu accept the offer from Ogen,
it was of course Yuzu is a fan of Ogen but
probably Yuzu wanted learn lots from Ogen,
and, , ,
Danny Boyとの出会いをもらったんだよね！
And Ogen let Yuzu encounter "Danny Boy".
「あの子は本当にもう急展開というか、運命の出会いを果たしたなっていう感じでした」
"It was like a sudden development or a fateful encounter."
運命の出会いだったのかもしれない
でも なんか結弦君自身が引き寄せた出会いにも思える
TV出演にしても
バラエティとかじゃなくって
やっぱりスケーターとしてとか
被災地支援につながる番組とか
音楽関係の番組とかね
出演した番組って
「羽生結弦」らしさがちゃんとそこにあるんだよね
そして ただ出演するんじゃなく
そこからまた色んな学びを得ているんだろうな
運命によってお源さんの番組を
結弦君が選び 運命の出会いを引き寄せたんだと思うんだわ
Maybe, it was a fateful encounter but, , ,
at the same time it seems like
it was brought about by Yuzu himself.
When Yuzu appears on TV,
never be in variety shows, but
interview programmes,
programmes related to disaster relief or
music programmes.
There's the essence of "Hanyu Yuuru".
And not only appearing but
seems Yuzu gains learnings through there too.
By fate, Yuzu made a chice to be in "Ogen-san" and
he himself attracted this fateful encounter.
運命の出会いだけど
でも 棚ぼた式に出会ったんじゃなくって
そういう結弦君の「選択」によって
引き寄せられた「運命」なのよ！
ってかさぁ 運命に操られるんじゃなくって
結弦君が運命を操っているんじゃない？？？
It was a fateful encounter though,
it was not windfall fate,
but it was Yuzu's choice,
Yuzu pulled that fate.
Not being controlled by fate but
well, maybe, Yuzu can even control fate？？？
