なぜ絵本をつくろうと思ったのか？
まずそもそも「GIFT」っていうものを書き上げていくにあたって、自分の中で最初から自分の物語なんだけれども、皆さんの物語であって欲しいと願いながら、その物語、言葉たちを綴っていきました。その中で自分の物語じゃなくて皆さんの物語なるためにはどうしたらいいのかなということを考えた時に、最初は「絵本」っていう形。
イラストで進行していくっていう形を想像しながら、この物語を綴っていきました。
なので自分の中では絵本にしたいという気持ちがあります。
Q: What makes you to create ehon?
First of all, when I decided to create “GIFT”, from the beginning I started weaving the words with a wish that although it’s my story but also it’d a story for each of you.
At the very first, when I thought about how it would be a story for everyone rather than my own, an concept of “ehon (picture book)” came to my mind.
Envisioning the story going on with illustrations, I created the story.
So that, I would like it to be an ehon, picture book.
「ＧＩＦＴ」の最初の構想から既に絵本が念頭にあったということかな？
アイス・ショーじゃなくってアイス・ストーリーだしね。
でも、結弦君のスケートはどんなプログラムも
確実に別世界に連れて行ってもらえるということでは
既に、常に・・・「絵本」の世界かな？
It means that from the beginning,
the ice show GIFT itself was prepared
with an idea of ehon-like show?
Yeah, it was not an ice show but
"Ice Story".
However, always, whenever Yuzu perfroms
yes, we can travel to a dream-like world,
so, yeah Yuzu's performances are always
like "ehon". . .
