なんかさぁ、結弦君を追っかけていると

念願かなっての航平さまとのコラボ！

って印象が強いけど

やっぱ、これも凄いことだよね。

史上初！！！！

それもさ、氷がなければできないフィギュアスケートと

床がなければできない体操のコラボって。

しかもさぁルンバじゃなくってちゃんと

オリンピック連覇メダリストが存分に演技できる床を

リンクを共に設定してあるって。

It was a really happy moment

yeah, Yuzu finally collaborated with

his respected person, Uchimura.

However, it was also a world first event,

yeah, who can think about

a collaboration between

two different sprots?

Especially Figure Skating for which

an ice rink is necessary and

Gymnastics which needs a floor.

既に原さんの結弦君ｘ航平さまのＣｏｎｑｕｅｓｔお衣装のコンセプトはインスタグラムだったと思うけど発信されていて知られているけど、ちょっと記事から抜粋。

Mr. Hara who created the costumes for Yuzu and Uchimura for their collaboration performance in notte stellata was interviewed, not all though parts in which he mentioned about Yuzu x Uchimura costumes are extracted below.

「最初は音楽から始まります。（略）ヴァンゲリスはギリシャのアテネ出身で、過去にオリンピックのテーマ曲を書いたり、『炎のランナー』というアスリート色の強い映画の音楽もやっていたこともあります。基本的にオリンピズムみたいなものとの関連性がすごく強いという要素を説明してます。では曲自体はどうなっているのか。この曲は映画のサウンドトラックですが、ヨーロッパの舞踏の『フォリア』という様式とアレンジをベースにした曲になっています」
それがコンセプトの核となる。
「（略）パターンとしてこういうムードを出したいということ、生地感としてギリシャやオリンポス時代の衣装様式にしたいということ、マテリアルの提案もして、絵は最後なんですね。今回は羽生さんに3タイプ、内村さんに2タイプデザインをご用意して、その中から決まりました」
“I started to understand the back ground of music. (…) Vangelis was born in Athens, Greece, and has written theme songs for the Olympics in the past. He has composed music for the film, “Chariots of Fire” which focused on the athlete highly. So basically, it’s explained the element which has a very strong relation with something like Olympism. Then what about the sound itself? This music is the soundtrack of the film, and the music was arranged based on the European dance music style “Folia”.
That is the core of the concept.
“(…) I confirmed the concept as a pattern; I wanted to express the atmosphere I mentioned, I wanted to used fabric which has gives images of Greek and Olympia times then I proposed materials, so that design drawing came after all in my case. I prepared three types of designs for Hanyu-san and two types for Uchimura-san, among them we have decided.”

アーティストや曲に加えて、スケーター自身のパーソナリティを重視すると言う。
「やっぱり本人が持つムードがありますし、ボディバランスもそうですし、性格やまとっているオーラみたいなものも重要視します。それはどちらかというとスタイリング的な領域ですが、音楽を軸としたコンセプトとその人に似合うかどうか、両輪として大切にしていますね」
He also explained when he creates a costume, not only considering the music world but also he emphasises the personality of a skater.
“The skater him/herself has unique mood, so as the body balance, I consider a lot something like aura he/she has. It’s more of a styling field though I value both the concept centred on music and whether it suits the skater or not, I cherish it as two wheels.”
