なんとまた結弦君は「大賞」を受賞！
Again Yuzu was awarded！！
「PR」で、思わずCM？思ったサラは浅はか・・・。
なんと、公益に貢献した人！！
単に「羽生結弦」という知名度の高いアスリートというだけではなく
社会に大いに影響をもたらしつつ、周りのこともよ～く把握できている人ということ。。

日本ＰＲ大賞は、「パーソン・オブ・ザ・イヤー」としてパブリックインタレスト（公益）に貢献し、かつ話題性、発信力の高さや共感の醸成など、パブリックリレーションズの視点から、この年に最もＰＲパーソンとして活躍した人を、また「シチズン・オブ・ザ・イヤー」には、長年にわたり企業や市井で独創的な広報・ＰＲ活動を実践し、広く社会や地域あるいは団体の発展に寄与し、奨励に値する成果を収めた個人または組織を、それぞれ表彰するものです。1998 年に日本ＰＲ大賞として創設して以来、年１回の表彰を行っています。 Japan PR Award is given to a person who contributed to public interest as the “Person of the Year” and who have been most active PR person in that year from the perspective of public relations, such as fostering topicality, high communication power, and empathy, and the "Citizen of the Year" goes to those who have practiced original PR and PR activities in companies and markets for many years. Awards are given to individuals or organizations that have contributed to the development of society, communities, or organizations at large and have achieved results worthy of encouragement. Since its establishment in 1998 as Japan PR Awards, the awards have been given once a year.
■授賞理由
2022 年 7 月に競技を引退しプロ転向を表明。それまでにオリンピックの連覇など、世界の競技大会で偉業を達成し、日本や世界の人々を魅了してきた。怪我との闘いを乗り越えながらジャンプに打ち込む姿が多くの人々に感動と勇気をもたらすとともに、競技に対する自らの取り組みについて丁寧かつ真摯に語る姿勢は、アスリートのコミュニケーションのお手本となるものである。現在は、アイスショーのプロデュース、出演をしながら SNS など様々なメディアも活用して表現者として積極的に活動している。
Announced that he would leave competitions and turn professional in July 2022. By then, he had achieved great achievements in world competitions, including back-to-back Olympic titles, and has been impressed people not only in Japan but also in the world. His dedication to challenge jumps while overcoming his battle with injury inspires and courage many people, and his attitude of talking carefully and sincerely about his own approach to competitions is a model for athletes to communicate. Currently, while producing and appearing in ice shows, he is actively working as a performer by utilising various media such as SNS.

■受賞メッセージ
このたびは「2022 年度 日本 PR 大賞 パーソン・オブ・ザ・イヤー」に選出いただき、ありがとうございました。
今回の受賞であらためて PR の意味を知りました。PR とは、パブリックリレーションズの略語で、その意味は、自分のことを一方的にアピールするのではなく、周りの声や意見をきちんと聞いたうえで、自分の考えを説明し、話し合ったことをしっかりと行動で示すことだと。そして、それを続けることで、自分と周囲の人々、その先の社会や世界と理解しあい、良い関係を築くことだということが分かりました。
これまでの自分を振り返ってみると、競技会やショーなどで、自分の思いを表現してきましたが、いつも、コーチ、そして、応援していただいた方々とコミュニケーションを取りながら、毎回、より高みを目指して表現してきたと思います。今回、表彰していただき、これまでの自分の行ってきたことも、PR の活動の一つではないかと実感することができました。
これからはプロスケート選手として活動、表現をしていきたいと考えています。今まで以上に、自分を支えていただく方々とコミュニケーション等をしっかりとり、お互いを理解し、それぞれの思いや考えを取り入れ、一つのものを作り上げていきたいと思います。

Thank you for being selected as “the 2022 Japan PR Award Person of the Year”.
Through this award, I reminded the meaning of “PR”. “PR” is an abbreviation of “Public Relations”, and it means not to appeal oneself, but to listen to the voices and opinions of those around you, explain your thoughts, and firmly show what you have discussed with action.
I also learnt that it also means by continuing to do so, to promote mutual understanding and amicable relations with people around you as well as people in the society or the world.
Looking back my life so far, I have expressed my thoughts at competitions and shows, always communicating with my coaches and supporters, I have always aimed to achieve higher every time.
もう本当に、何度も何度も叫んでいるけど、本当に結弦君、プロになって大正解だよね。
結弦君が結弦君として「羽生結弦」として、まっすぐ世の中に受け入れられる。
結弦君の全てがまっすぐに評価される。
So many times we feel though, really
it was a very, very and very good decision of Yuzu
to be a professional athlete.
Now, who Yuzu is, what Yuzu does and say,
all of Yuzu and Hanyu Yuzuru are evaluated properly.
