An article report about Koki Nakamura, the shamisen player who performs with Yuzu for "Change".
なんかね、どういういきさつで結弦君は彼を招いたのかなって、ちょっと気になっているんだわ。
でも、そのいきさつについては、全く触れられていなかった。
で、コウキ君の結弦君の印象は・・・
Sarah was wondering what made Yuzu to invite Koki Nakamura for Prologue.
In the interview it was not mentioned though, here's Koki's comment how he felt about Yuzu.
「世界的名選手というだけでなくて、その人柄が多くのファンをひきつけ、多くの人に愛されていると感じました。人への気配り、周囲のスタッフに対しての感謝や敬意がいろんな場面で伝わってきました。
僕もやさしく接していただき人間性の素晴らしさのお手本のような方でした」
"He is not only the world top skater, but his personality must attract people, and is loved by many people, I felt. In many occasions, I could feel how he cares other people around him with his gratitude and respect. I myself too, he cares warmly, he's really just like an ideal being, I was impressed by his personality."
「海外からの反応も多いです。今回のアイスショーは、これまでの舞台とは比べものにならないくらい大きな経験でした。これに満足せず世界で活躍できる三味線奏者になるための夢に向かって有意義な第一歩になったと思っています」
"From abroad too, I received lots comments. The ice show provided me an incomparably great experience I have ever experienced. I think it became an important first step to be a shamisen player who actively perform in international stages without being satisfied with the current position.”
横浜公演で、いきなり海外の結弦君ファンからの反応に驚いたんだろうね。
コウキ君もチャレンジャーだし、素晴らしい演奏者というだけじゃなく
チャレンジし続けている姿に結弦君、注目したのかもね。
Well, normally, Shamisen players are rather, well, kind of "old-fashion" lovers?
but Koki is quite unique, and he's challanging too, to promote Shamisen to younger people.
So maybe not only his attractive sound but his challanging spirit,
Yuzu may be interested in him?

細くて見えにい弦・・・
この弦の話題をちょっと。
何気に先日公開された初日のチェンジと
2日目のチェンジ
三味線の音がちょっと違う気もするんだわ。
フィニッシュのあたりの音が・・
あ、でも、どちらも、めっちゃかっこいい、
素敵な音なんだけどね、勿論。
By the way Sarah would like to talk about
the third string of his Shamisen.
Shamisen has three strings, and the third one is very thin so it's hard to be seen though,
三弦、切れた？
なんか、ちらりと映っていたの
これ、切れちゃった弦だよね・・・。
で、何気にフィニッシュの音が違ったんじゃないのかな？
Well, somewhat, after the day 1 video was released,
Sarah felt that Shamisen sound is a bit different
between the sound on Day 1 and Day 2.
seems 3rd string of his Shamisen is broken.
Probably, the string behind the neck may be
the broken one?
たまたま、こんな記事も見つけちゃった。
5年前に彼が日本一になった時、この時も弦が切れたけど、完璧パフォーマンスで日本一になっていた。
Oh, found the article of 5 years ago, telling about his accident when he became the top shamisen player at the age of 14.
「ねぇ、ねぇ、サラ、ボク、レイバック・イナできるんだよ。」
