夢をかなえるために大切な3つのこと
頑張ること。結果をとること。ほめること。
楽しんだ方がいいとか、好きこそのなんかとかいうじゃないですか、なんかって・・・ふふ、好きなものとか、楽しいことって確かに熱中はできるし、強くはなれると思うんですけど。楽しいの延長線上で強くなったときって、絶対にそれ以上強くなれないんですよ。それ以上上手くなれなくて。やっぱり、苦しまなきゃいけないと思うんですよね。その苦しみがあって、その壁を乗り越えた先にある成功とか結果というものが絶対自分の役に立ってくると思っているんですね。
なのでとにかく頑張る。そこから逃げたいなって思うこともあるかもしれないけれども、とにかく頑張っていれば、絶対結果はつくし、結果が出たら今度、誉めてもらえるし。
誉めてもらえた自分をまた自分でも誉めて欲しいなって。
それがすごく夢をかなえる時は大切だなって僕は思います。

Working hard. Producing good results. Praising.
Often people say, it’s better enjoy, or there’s a saying “what one likes, one will do well,” yes, something enjoyable, you can concentrate yourself and improve. However, when you became good at something only having good experiences, then you cannot improve further more. I think you should also have bitter experiences. When you succeed or produce a good result after having and overcoming hard time, such experiences will work for you lots.
So, first keep working hard. There will be chances you would want to give up, but keep making efforts, then your efforts will bear fruit, the you will be praised. Please do praise yourself too. I believer these are keys to make your dream come true.

こどもたちにメッセージ
夢をかなえることって、とっても大変なことです。僕は夢が叶って今、振り返ってみると大変だったなぁとか、楽しかったなぁとか色んな記憶があります。
でも、夢を追う時にやっぱり苦しいことってきっとたくさんあって、辛いなぁって思う日々が続いたりもします。そんな時に、たくさん、たくさん、支えてくれる家族だったり、兄弟だったり、学校の先生だったり、コーチだったり、色んな人がいると思います。そういう人にまずは感謝してみてください。ありがとうって言ってみてください。そしたらまた「あ、一生懸命頑頑張んなきゃ」ってきっと思えると思います。夢をかなえるまですごくすごく長くて大変な日々が続くと思うけれども、これからも頑張ってください。絶対に夢は叶います。頑張れ！
“Message to children”
Fulfilling a dream is really tough. After achieving my dream, when I look back, many bitter moments and also happy moments came back to my mind.
There are many days you face difficulties or troubles while making efforts for your dream. In such cases, please do think about people supporting you, for example, your family members, school teachers or coaches, and do thank them, express your gratitude to them. Then I’m sure you can feel “OK, I should make efforts as hard as possible”. It will be a long and long way to make your dream come true, and you may face lots difficulties on the way, but be brave. Your dream will come true. All the best！！

そうですね、やっぱ、夢ってすごく遠いものだったり、ちっちゃいころから考えてみたらなかなか現実的じゃなかったりって、そういうものって結構ありますけど。
でも、そこに向かうには、ちっちゃい夢を1つずつ叶えていくのが一番の近道で。
「小さな夢を一歩、また一歩」
それが、いつか、僕は夢が叶った立場として言えますけど、こんなにちっちゃいことたくさん重ねてきたんだなぁとか、これがあったから今、夢が叶ったんだなって思える瞬間があるので。
