う・・・結弦君は競技には出ないから
やっぱり「選手」ってならないのかな・・・とかね。

"senshu選手" means a competitor.
The article is telling even though Yuzu became a professional,
still he's an athlete, so as baseball players,
(we call Otani, as Otani-senshu)
still we can call Hanyu-senshu.
However, the definition of "senshu" is
a person selected for a competition or such.
So now, Yuzu will not particpate any competitions, so
maby we can't call him "senshu", although
the article is telling the writer will keep Yuzu so.

地震の時大変ですね、やっぱり。
凄く、現実的な問題を言うと。
3月にあった地震も含めてですけど、もう、ぐじゃぐじゃになっちゃって、正直どこに保管したらいいかなっていうのも、迷ってますね。
箱のまま積み上げてものもありますし、ちゃんと飾っているトロフィーもありますし、ただ、飾りすぎるとまた地震で、いつ地震がまた来るかわからないとかって思って、どうしたらいいのかなぁって思ってますね。
