流鏑馬は、しっかと見てきました。

Although Sarah wasn't able to get a good place to obeserve the second day's big event, howeve enjoyed the last day's event, "Yabusame (the art of shooting arrows on horseback)".

三嶋大社の馬場。

日本一長い馬場です。

かっこいいでしょ？

でもさ、もう、めっちゃ暑い日だったよ。

17日。

前日の大泉さんたちもそうだけど、熱中症警報が出ている中、

このお姿は・・・大変だよね。

なのに、涼し気なお顔をしているところが、これまた凄い！

The riding track in Mishima Grand Shrine.

It's the longest track for house riding in Japan.

they look so cool.

Although it was one of the hottest days, but

being fully equipped, it must be terribly hard. .

but yet, they look so cool.

勇ましい流鏑馬の場面はまだです。

まずは全員が本殿での神事に参列、そして

馬場のお祓いがあって・・・

厳かに準備が進んでいきます。

Since it's a traditional even, so

fist all the parties concerned attended the ritual servises, and

then a priest purified the track.
