あ、でも、プロレスとかボクシングはあんまり興味ないけど）
で、白鵬のファンでもないんだけどね・・・引退が決まったね。
ってかさ、横綱になったばかりの頃は、結構、好きだったかも。
でも、最近の取り口がね・・・なんか、「横綱？」って感じが多くて。
ま、それはともかく、ふと、白鵬が結弦君に感動したって記事が以前あったなぁ・・・って、
思い出したの。
If you are one of the regular visitor of this blog, you may already know that Sarah like to watch martial arts, although is not interested in professional wrestling nor boxing, however, also very much interested in Sumo.
And one of the grand champions, Yokozuna Hakuho announce his retirement.
Well, actually, at the first when he became Yokozuna, yes, Sarah liked to watch his matches though, these years (he's been Yokozuna since 2007) Sarah doesn't like his ways to fight.
Anyway, just recalled that some years ago, Hakuho told that he was impressed by Yuzu.

Well, Hakuho had a chance to watch 2015 WTT on the spot.
It was reported in Sportiva in April 2015.

The competition venue has the specially tensed atmosphere, it must be unique to Figure Skating. When it were the Olympic event, I wonder how the tense would be. The pressures on skaters, I can’t even imagine. Hanyu won the gold medal overcoming such pressure. That must be why he could impress so many people and move audience souls of those who watched his skating.
かねてから思っていることなのですが、勝負の場では、運をつかむ人と、そうじゃない人と、２種類の人が存在すると思います。そこで、勝者となるのは、もちろん運をつかみとる力がある人です。それも、実力のうちだと思っています。
I have been feeling that there are two types of athletes, those who get luck and the others who don’t. Of course, athletes who have power to grab luck. I think it’s also a part of athletes’ capability.
羽生選手は、まさに運をつかみとる力がある人です。今季序盤はケガなどアクシデントに見舞われましたが、結局最後には最高の形でシーズンを終えましたからね。
And Hanyu is truly the one who has ability to grab luck. Like this season (2014-2015), although he was suffered by the injuries, however he ended the season in the best possible manner.
また、羽生選手は20歳という若さながら、「王者の責任感」というものを持ち合わせていますよね。22歳で横綱に昇進した私も、「横綱の責任感」とは何なのか、ずっと考えながら相撲をとってきましたからわかります。そして、羽生選手には「もう、後には引き返せない」――そうした思いを背負った人間の強さを、改めて見せてもらったような気がします。
Although, he’s just 20 years old, he has the sense of responsibility as the champion. I understand it since when I became “Yokozuna (grand champion) at the age of 22, I was struggling to clear the meaning of “the responsibility as Yokozuna. And now, from Hanyu, I feel that he showed me the strength of the champion who carries the pressure of “I can’t turn back.”
頂点に立つ人間が、その責任と結果を果たす姿は、とても美しかったです。すごく貴重な経験をさせてもらいました。
It was very beautiful that when the person who is leading the sport fulfilled his responsibility and achieved the result. I had a very valuable experience.
サラの好みはさておき、横綱になるってことは、やっぱり鬼のように努力を重ねてきたってことよね。しかも、2007年からずっと記録を作り続けてきた人だし。
結弦君、本当に色んな人を感動させ続けて、オリンピック選手にも影響を与え・・こうして、
結弦君、3人分ぐらいはあるんじゃない？って思えるような巨漢の横綱も感動させちゃうって・・・
やっぱ、凄い人よね。
