さて、これは何でしょう？
春に白いお花を咲かせていたコブシの実。
この姿が拳みたいだから、コブシって名前が付いたとか。
Nothing to do with today's photos though, just wanted to introduce funny songs.
Have you ever seen these? Can you guess what kind of plant it is?
They are fruit of Kobushi Magnolia, which has lovely white flowers in Spring.
It’s native to Japan, and “Kobushi” means “a fist”, see, its fruit look like a fist right?

カラスウリのお花。実はね、もう枯れかけているの。
夜だけ咲くお花で、サラは怠け者だから、昼間、このお写真、とっていて、本当は花びらの周りの糸のような部分がレース編みのように広がるんだけど。

Actually, they are withering already, since they flower only at night, and as you know Sarah is too lazy to go out at nights.
See the petals got thread-like parts, at night they look like lacework, looks lovely really.
