ねぇ、お花ってきれいって思わない？
are they beautiful?
いつも不思議に思うんだけど・・
often Sarah wonders. . .
お花は、ハチさんや蝶々さんに、「ほら、おいしそうでしょ、おいで！」
っていろんな色になったり、きれいになっているんでしょ
you see, flowers must be attractive for insects, that’s why they got different colours and shapes. . .
でもさ、なんでヒトが見てもきれいなんだろうって不思議に思わない？
but why for us too, they are attractive?

だってさぁ、お花からしたら、ヒトは勝手に摘んじゃったり、天敵じゃん
you know, for them human beings are not at all needed

ヒトが見ても、きれいで魅力的ってことは・・・
ひょっとして、ヒトも昆虫もおんなじ感性を持っているってこと？
is the way we see them the same as insects see?
and insects and human beings has the same sense of beauty?
てっかさぁ、ハチさんも蝶々さんも複眼でしょ
どんなふうに見えているのか・・・なんか気にならない？
most of insects got compound eyes, totally different from ours,
don’t you wonder how they see?
それに紫外線も見えちゃうんでしょ？
they can also see ultraviolet rays
ってか、紫外線が見えちゃうから、ハチさんにはこの薄紅色が青く見えるのかもね・・・
well, they can see ultraviolet rays means, colours bees see and we see must be different
well, maybe for bees this Sakura colour can be seen as blue?
